Splinter Cell

Having played the orginal game, Double Agent (2006)and Conviction (2010), I've always felt it was one of the most frustrating games. I find the storylines are boring and too complex, so I end up skipping the cut scenes. I know it's predominatnly stealth, but who on earth wants to play a game by keeping a low profile and sneaking everywhere when there's a range of weapons to utlise. In Double Agent, I thought some of the graphics/levels were amazing, I recall abseiling down a Shanghai skyscraper at night with the whole city moving along in the background and fireworks visible, I remember the graphics on the cruise ship were also brilliant. The aiming system was pretty historic though, and as for the intelligence of the enemies you could crouch in the dark right next to a group of them but you won't be spotted.

Overall, I'd rate the splinter cell series 7/10.
