Weekend’s football

Well what an exciting prospect up at the sheep pen today. Can’t wait to see…eh…all the players we’ve already seen…in action. Looking forward to a convincing performance and handsome win.

Celtic
Hart, AJ, Rocki, Scales, Bernabei, CalMac, MOR, Bernardo, Abada, Palma, Kyogo

Who’d have seen that coming?

Stinker of a bench
Bain, Kuhn, Idah, Holm, Vata, Kelly, Forrest, Ralston, Welshyyyyyyyyy!

Be still, my beating heart.

Eberdeen rudderless so no doubt we’ll win and everything will be rosy.

Rangers, surprisingly, home to Livi. Fack knows their lineup. Some loaners and some guys with -y at the end of their names.

Renegade. I'm sorry but you really are financially illiterate.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Please do explain
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Pointless. I can't be ersed getting into one those Pointless 606 debates you seem to live for.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Does seem pointless, would be bold to say BDO are financially illiterate
----------------------------------------------------------------------

They’re not and that’s not what’s being said.

As Silver has mentioned there was no sale of Rangers, their assets and far less their history as a “going concern”.

What price do you think was paid for the history as a matter of interest? And where did BDO place these non existent payments?
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Quit your jibber jabber, the new company was obliged to buy the business, history and some of the assets if the CVA fail. A going concern sale to the new company was then completed when it did
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Wonderful. Again pray tell, what value was placed on the history?

I’m with Mags in this one.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

BA Baracas here think you are obliged to buy history
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Financially illiterate as Mags said.

The stadium and Murray Park were purchased. That’s it. The new company simply “took” the history.

Look, I’m not one of those who give it the Sevco patter and agree that Rangers are the club they’ve always been, but let’s at least get the simple things right.

Think I’ll head out and buy a pair of George Best boots, change my name to George Best and then claim all his accolades and female conquests. There’s an idea.

----------------------------------------------------------------------

I have no idea and can’t be bothered to read up, as I’ve literally just copied the wording from a report to creditors that was signed off by two Scottish judges…. So a few different folk you can pick up with

And achieving the sale and survival of the whole business or any part of its undertaking as a “going concern” is one of the purposes of an administration order per the insolvency act, so without getting into that wording of the sale report would appear to make sense

But it wasn’t sold as a going concern. That’s the main point. 👍
