so of the very good players. Only one plays, and hes 21.

Petrovic and even palmer were unknown entitys in terms of starting pl football for a top club at the beginning of the season.

So i'll ask again who are these very good players lol.

Palmer has been brilliant since arriving

Nkunku has obviously been injured but was a known quantity before entering the league

James - if he could string more than 10 consecutive appearances together would probably be at Real Madrid.

I was just answering who your good players are, I didn’t talk about availability. For me, although you have wasted a lot of money, there have been some good purchases as well. Palmer being one of the best deals of the summer.

I think what is really interesting is whether you can keep hold of Palmer in the summer - if United offered £80m plus for instance, I don’t think your owners could turn that down

ah fair enough, my response was to the player saying we've got a good bunch of players who are not clicking.

We've had most our good players (nkunku, chillwell, james injured) add to that lavia who was an exciting signing, and the other array of injuries.

It's been a tough watch because of this.

In terms of selling palmer, if he carries on at this trajectory then £80m would not be enough.

havertz went for £65
mudryk was £60
Caicedo was £100

I also don't think the owners would sell Palmer for £80m (/hope they wouldn't). He's been our standout player and one of the standout players in the league this season, which for a 20 year old is v impressive. Also if Internet sources are reliable, he's "only" on 75k per week.

In terms of the amount as Nick says our other incomings/outgoings have been inflated so I don't think 80m would be enough based on the others. And in terms of FFP it would represent around £40m profit..I think we have plenty of other players to generate this if FFP comes into play.

Why would they sell Palmer ?

They will sell the pure profit assets and the 5 surplus players .
