Agree with Warnock. Casemiro attempted to play the ball and this impacted the defenders.
I think VAR would have been interesting, could have gone either way in all reality.

Well, he didn’t did he. Being on the pitch would constitute interfering with play.

We have evidence of some players being on the pitch this season that couldn’t interfere with play in a month of Sundays.

I don't know why the offside rule is so difficult.
It should be if you're offside you're offside.

Casemiro was offside therefore from the set piece it should have been called.

It's similar to these ones where players are about 3 metres offside but standing nearish the keeper but because they weren't in the line of sight then it's not offside.

It's stupid. The keeper has an offside guy in his vision, in his mind, therefore the player is interfering with play.

Casemiro was interfering with play, end of story.

Glad we got a goal though, especially against villa, so fk the Brummie tw@ts.

Don't think difficultly of the laws comes into it here. Offside wasn't given as it was simply a tight one and a goal wasn't scored. You can't be using VAR for everything. They had a chance to defend the corner and didn't.

I’d say he’s offside.

But it’s by a whisker and we shouldn’t be analysing assistant referee’s to this degree.

Who cares though. The goal came from a corner that should never have been.
This one went for us but they have gone against us multiple times in the past and will again I'm sure

You do realise you’re sounding like a Liverpool fan mate.

Had the goal come from that free-kick, it would have been reviewed and possibly disallowed. But it didn't and there is only so far back they're going to go. End of story.

What about goals which come from Throw In or Corners given incorrectly ?

Villa had another phase of play which they could set up and defend but didnt and u guys scored.
