EXETER CITY v DERBY COUNTY League 1 #32 |
Tuesday 13th Feb 2024, 1945, St James Park, Exeter |
Always feel a little deflated when starting these match threads seemingly always refering to a poor/laboured/stultifying/unconvincing performance from the prevous match.
Yeah, we're grinding out the results and yeah, we are there or thereabouts but we still flatter to deceive in a league bereft of much talent.
And guess what? we're literally still 6 points from the top.
Exeter sit mid-table and should be the level of a team that we should be comfortable against - however witness Shrewsbury.......
Fair play to those supporters making the long journey south, its a long way to go on a Tuesday evening. I understand that for once we will not sell out the away end.
Exete have won their last two games - both impressive wins against Peterborough and away at Wigan. They will not be a walk-over.
