Ok so just for a bit of fun, I want to talk about things that annoy you in football at the minute, could be anything from a certain player to a rule or a ground or a commentator. Anything, fill your boots and get it off your chest.
For me, at the minute, it's throw ins. It absolutely boils my pee when firstly I see a player taking ages to take a throwing, posturing to throw, then not throwing, also, it grips me inside when I see them cadging yards up the side-line to the point where they have walked 10 plus yards down the side-line, then only to have the cheek to take a run up to throw.
Biggest offender for this is Ben White, closely followed by Trent Alexander Arnold. Although they are not in a minority for this, they are the worst in my opinion.
Come on lets get it off our chests.
Things that annoy you in football

Hate fans of teams that sing “(insert team name) are by far the greatest team the world has ever seen”
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Couldn't agree more.
With 35 Spanish league titles and 14 European Cups/ Champs league victories Real Madrid are the greatest team the world has ever seen.
Anybody else singing it is an idiot.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Disagree.
Just cos over a long time span they might have won the most high level honours does not necessarily make them the greatest ever seen. In fact they would be multiple different teams such is the span.
Like the GOAT debate it is subjective and not something that is definitive, certainly not just by honours. Hence, other teams are justified in singing it.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Other teams are justified in singing it is a bit vague?
I go to see Oxford a few times a season with some mates who love them. It always makes me laugh when they sing it but maybe they are correct to do so?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Aye, some teams sing it ironically - that's OK

I've said it before and I'll say it again, the first five don't count!
It was an invitational tournament ran by a French football magazine which many nations, including England didn't participate.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Agreed. It was more like that Emirates cup back then.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Haha, yes that late 50's/early 60's Puskas, Di Stefano Real Madrid team would have really struggled if more teams had entered.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
n englush teams ((Chelsea) only did mot compeat in the very furst tournament
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Don't bother with those two. I presented them ages ago with plenty of evidence and links related to those tournaments, including UEFA documents saying how they took over the competition and recognised it from the first edition, but it's like trying to convince Flat Earthers that they're wrong.
They prefer to live in a parallel universe of aLtErNaTiVe pHaCktS where they entertain the fantasy of one day overhauling Madrid's European Cup count.
Trying to scratch as many titles as possible off the list is a necessary step towards convincing themselves they might just pull it off before their grandchildren die.
Spolier Alert: You won't.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
This may as well have come from a City fan about their doping the fack out if football. Madrid are well known for being UEFA darling, state funded and receiving special treatment for decades. The truth is Madrid is somewhat a fraud in football anyway and your absolute denial of this is ridiculous and deluded.

I mean they were an excellent team and probably would have won a few of those five at least anyhow but I just don't understand why they're included. Completely different competition at a time when other invitational European competitions had already happened and ran for years. Why are they not the first European Cup and instead one ran by a French magazine. It's true UEFA did eventually take over the European Champion Clubs’ Cup but it was still an invitational tournament until the French magazine were no longer inviting teams based on how 'prestigious' they were.
Pretty pointless debate as they aren't going to take them off the total, not that it would mean much since Real Madrid would still be way out in front but interesting nonetheless, having read loads on the history of European competitions in the earlier part of the 1900s.

I dislike it when a player/manager announces that they are leaving/retiring at the end of the season several months before it's actually happening.
It's like they want the adulation and drama to go on for far longer than it needs to and of course the media pander to it like the fools that they are. The other day I was driving home from playing 5 aside on a Sunday afternoon and Liverpool and just done Norwich 5-2. The woman on radio5 reported on the game and then they stayed with her to see if Klopp would do his famous fist pump to the Kop. Apparently this was important as it would be his first fist pump since he announced his retirement!!?
Why not announce that you are leaving before the final home game of the season so you can say goodbye to the fans and spare the rest of us the match by match tiresome countdown.
This is the last time Klopp will manage at Craven Cottage, who the fack cares?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Some fans appreciate people in the game full stop, but fair play, some need it to be about their own team.
I guess the equivalent would be like when one of the great Spurs mana…. Ahhh I get it. Sorry dude.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Ah I see.
Klopp is allowing everybody (regardless of who they follow) to pay homage to him.
That's not at all arrogant.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
He told the owners in November and the players didn’t even know. It seemed that someone was going to leak it so they had to announce it.
Sorry if the actual truth makes you look like an utter buffoon, but that’s life….
----------------------------------------------------------------------
He should have kept it to himself until just before his final Prem home game.
This tedious countdown is completely unnecessary.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
"He should have........." Says Pawl the angry Spurs fan off the internet.
You wouldn't think things like it leaking, the club starting the search for his successor with plenty of time, the effect on the players, backroom staff, fans etc would be a consideration before accounting for angry Pawl the Spurs fan.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Haha, yes those who disagree with you must be angry.
It's like the clowns who put an article on a football debating forum then say bite or chomp when folk respond.
Childish nonsense.
Managers leave clubs all the time without the needing a 5 month leaving party.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Even in the real world this isn’t unusual. If I wanted to move jobs I’d need to give a 6 month notice period and I wouldn’t be even slightly difficult to replace. Must remember to refer to it as a 6 month leaving party though!
Klopp gave notice to his employers and the press clearly got wind of it.
