You'll soon find out that no matter your form, City will just keep churning out the wins and eventually win the title. Didn't Liverpool get something like 97 points and still lose the title to them at one stage? That's what your up against and the feeling of being so dominant, finding most games so easy and still coming away completely potless at the end of it will eventually tear away the belief that you'll ever do it all the time Pep is there. It's going to be difficult to win the league with City around. We can deal with Liverpool as we showed when we outclassed them at the Emirates. All we can do is focus on ourselves and show that we are a better team than we were last season.

What does "deal with Liverpool" mean in this context? It's not like we get to play them again, and they're still ahead of us so..

Simply put. They are not as good as City. Therefore we can beat them to 1st if City slip up.

Arsenal already overtook Liverpool. In case people have forgotten, Arsenal finished 2nd last season and are currently in the Champions League.

Great to see the attack starting to really click, defence looks very solid, we’ve hardly given teams a look in recently. Havertz seems to be becoming more effective now and looks more settled. Shame about that wobble around Christmas. Should have a few injuries back soon, heard Jesus, zinchenko, Tomi and vieira are close to a return. Looking alright without them, but great to have some depth back now the CL is picking up. Partey isn’t far off, but feck knows what he’ll be like and if he’ll just get immediately injured again. I’ve basically written him off at this point
