Probably not the Cup tie we would've chosen against snottiest of our bogey teams, however it should be an open game and the type of opponents that will allow us to do what we do best.
The first Cup meeting between these sides took place on January 9th 1979 at the Goldstone ground, goals from Steve Daley, Norman Bell and an og setting us off on a Cup run which was to end in a semi final defeat to Arsenal at Villa Park.
Having only beaten them 6 times since (we've beaten Man U more often in that period), some balancing of the record would be welcome.
Brighton's form has been up and down, injuries have affected their consistency but on their day they are capable of putting 4 or 5 past most teams in the league. March, Mitoma, Veltman, Evans and Wellbeck are likely to miss game for the visitors with injuries but Wolves only have Cunha, who is reportedly recovering well from his hamstring injury, missing. Brighton are also without the suspended Billy Gilmour.
Third time lucky after a draw and a defeat already this season hopefully, 2-1

For any of our fanbase that hasn't seen much of Coventry City this season, there is a perfect opportunity to catch up with them on Sky this evening as they take on The Shiite at the Whorethorns (kick off 8pm)
West Midlands police will be hoping they don't get attacked again.

Winning the fa cup ensures a Europa League spot. If the winners qualify for the champions league then the place goes to the next team in the league, not the fa cup final losers

Still very unlikely we get a Euro spot. Our lack of squad depth is starting to show with a few knocks starting to have an impact and the extra cup games obviously won't help.
Regardless, it is great that we are even in the picture and able to dream a little. A cup semi and a top half finish was on absolutely nobodies radar at the start of the season.

Interesting from GON:

Most of us noticed that "drift" at the end of Lage's and during Lopetegui's time. He certainly has fixed that.
