1000 Brits vs 1000 Americans

Who wins that fight?

If you’re from the UK, where are you picking your Brits from, same for the Yank posters on here?

For me I’m picking mine from London, Scotland and Northern Ireland and saying the Brits take it.

No, poolmyfinger, no guns.

A more interesting bout would be a 'ladies' supermarket sweep competition. The US would win their home leg comfortably with the advantage of turbo 'invalid' fat bastirt scooters and their fat @rses blocking any overtakes whilst the UK trolley 'hingers' could not straighten themselves to reach the upper shelves and they'd draw a blank looking for cilantro.

However, the UK would romp home in the return by staging it at a Sainsbury's Local where scooters (or @rses) don't fit the aisles and the shermans thrown by being asked to find something that doesn't contain cheese or salt.

Ever been to an American supermarket? Baffling to me that they haven’t moved to the metric system. It’s all pounds and ounces and measurements are done in a ‘cup’ whatever the fack that means, and they have entire aisles just for the various different types of tinned tomato. Nonetheless I do like the country though, or certainly the parts of it I stay in when I go out there which is usually every other summer.

I'm there regular, mate and yes, pretty baffling though I did post the other week about the Brexiters being so pleased with themselves at progressing the right to sell wine in the UK in pint measures like that makes all the difference.

Is the US the only country in the world not to use metric?

At least Americans stick to one method.

We measure fuel economy in miles per gallon, yet buy fuel in litres. That’s idiocy
