Remaining league fixtures

Everton H - Won 2-0
Brentford A - Draw 1-1
Chelsea A - Lost 4-2
Liverpool H - Drew 2-2
Bournemouth A - Drew 2-2
Newcastle H
Burnley H Drew 1-1
Palace A Lost 4-0
Arsenal H
Brighton A

I'm only confident in us winning 4 of the remaining 10 league fixtures.

I have previously said that I thought the extent of our injuries might have seen ETH be given the benefit of a 3rd season, but surely, if we were to win just 4 of the remaining 10, he would have to go.

Sacking him now makes no sense as it's too late to save the season and a new manager may not even be available yet.

____________

Surely you'd want him gone ASAP when you only see 4 wins and and a few draws for the remainder of the season.

An interim manager couldn't do any worse than that

To achieve what? CL is gone regardless. An interim manager isn't saving the season.

Nah I want our new manager to be a permanent one and to get a clean slate in the summer with a pre season and some new signings of his own.

The window to sack ETH this season has been and gone. May as well just let him see it now and send him packing. Personally I think he knows he's only got 10 league games left as manager. He won't be expecting to still be here in August.

Achieve what you want ASAP

You say the season is done you are tormented more than most by what's happening under this manager. A care taker manager can't do any worse than your present expectations.

We got an nice little bounce when Carrick took over for a few games.

Maybe get Ole back in the meantime you mentioned him in another article

I don't want an interim that's why. I want a permanent manager and I'm prepared to wait now. As I said the window to sack him mid season has been and gone now.

I see what you're doing though with these questions. You're being deliberately awkward and ridiculous because once again everything I have been saying for months is true and you're having a real hard time coming to terms with the fact he's not good enough.

Or have I got that wrong? 😉

Yes you've been saying for months he's not been good enough and that you want him gone

Someone just mentioned the caretaker option for the remainder of the season. A season that only has 4 wins and few draws achievable in your opinion and you don't want to take it.

You want the club to 'take its medicine'

You come across as a bit of a masochist and enjoy wallowing in the negatively

As for my opinion we are where we are now after a very disappointing season. Its one game at a time to the end of the season and hope for the best

I dunno
Keeping him on seems like a waste of time for me.
The players aren't playing for him at all. It may actually be detrimental to the players, fans, club in general that eth remains manager.
I can't see any benefit keeping him on?
I agree the benefits of sacking him are also questionable but the feel good factor may come around for the end of the season with a caretaker.
Eth is going to suck any remaining soul out of every fan if he stays in a job.

It would be hilarious if United get yet another caretaker manager in becuase they had to sack the manager they had invested so heavily in during the summer window due to poor results. It would make United an even bigger laughing stock than we already are.

Im sure INEOS have somebody already lined up to take over from Ten Hag if and when they do sack him. Probably Potter. Who is available now.

The season isnt done yet as United are still in the Cup. So Ten Hag has a chance to save this season (as we are the new Arsenal) by winning it. If we get beat by Liverpool I am sure INEOS will push the sack button then IF Potter is the man. Especially if we lose to Liverpool in the league game too a couple of weeks later. Not ignoring that United have to go to Chelsea in between these 2 games v Liverpool. Otherwise it will happen at the end if the season if no Champions League qualification (LOL).

I mentioned Ole in a previous thread. I said that Ole organised United better to win games in his style of play than what Ten Hag does to win games in whatever his mystery style might be. Answers on a postcard please.

Let's hope we can somehow get past Liverpool in the FA Cup and keep something alive for the remainder of the season.

I won't be paying £285 for a ticket to watch City beat us at Wembley again though

Does nobody think his plans have been trashed pretty much all season by injury after Injury, to key players?
