And then there's the dip fcks who keep defending him.

Bamford may charm certain folks, but not me. He fluffs every good chance he gets. I’m not saying he doesn’t do some decent work elsewhere on the pitch but we need goals, pure and simple, and Paddy’s incapable of that right now. His missed chances (including penalties) towards the end of last season cost us big time - we need to learn from past mistakes.

Paddy is one of those players who has purple patches and these have become less frequent he also has injury issues history.

Who on here actually jumped up and down with glee when in August '21 when he was given a 5 year £70K contract. Yes he contributes and holds the ball up in a pressing team but was he really the way forward in the PL?

That Blackburn lad knows where the back of the net is as he proved yesterday and you watch West Ham or someone similar snap him up in the summer and he'll gbe a big hit in the EPL like Bowen and other Championship stand out players Leeds don't seem to spot but if by pure luck he is available and wants to come and play for Leeds that's the type of instinctive striker we need and there are a few others knocking about and in League one also as Brentford have proved by taking a chance on these types of players like they did with Toney from Peterborough.

Blackburn is probably going to be as big as it gets for him. He's having the season of his life but he was knocking around for years and nobody took the chance, before this season he wasn't particularly prolific and has only scored 91 career league goals. I think most teams would view this season as a one off.
He's 29 in September, personally I don't see him making it in the premier league, he's too old.
