Ryerson

Impressed by this guy in the CL matches I've seen, also seem to combinate good with Jadon.

I have to say that Sanchos performance last night was also a banger, we need him in United at this level and it's now our Job (the clubs) to make him perform like this with our joursey..

Anyway, we desperatly need strengthning in defence, and a FB that can contribute with g/a. Ryerson seems like the real deal, and a real warrior. I hope we scout him properly and consider him.

Sancho played well last night, solid 8/10, but that is what we should have been seeing every week from him. Even during his time in Dortmund that's the best I've seen him play, and ultimately he only created one good chance.

I feel there's been a lot of over-reaction to one performance

I think there's also a lot of reliance received wisdom that Sancho has otherwise been unimpressive since he returned to Dortmund.

I have also seen the vast majority of his televised Dortmund games and would say, imo anyway that he has certainly been way better than what we saw of him at OT.

That said I got the impression that there was talent there and some of the Dortmund games kinda clarified that, can he pick up if/when he returns? no idea but would like if he could, time will tell

We all know Sancho is a great talent (some would say generational) but it’s whether he can be consistent and perform at a high level in different environments.

The PL isn’t the Bundesliga, it’s a lot faster and more physical, attributes that Sancho lacks and which seemed to hinder his ability when at United. Also if one of the key reasons Sancho failed at United was because of his state then that isn’t all on the club, the player also need to take a lot of responsibility as a club can only do so much which tbf it did seem like they tried to help with.

There a quite a few factors why Sancho didn’t work at the club and for both moving forward it would make sense to part ways. The environment at United clearly needs to improve and for that to happen players like Sancho need to leave, hypothetically had he joined us with the club in a far healthier state then he would have probably done a lot better but I still have my doubts about his mental strength at a club the size of United as well as his attributes suiting the PL.

Some will always feel that we messed up with Sancho and we did to a degree because the club are a mess but if a player is continually failing to put in the effort in training and lacking the desire the manager demands then it’s not good enough. He was poor under Ole and Ralf as well as EtH.

I haven’t seen a single minute of Sancho’s time back in the Bundesliga but I’ve definitely read lukewarm reviews from fans on Reddit. Sounds like Dortmund in general aren't great this season (domestically), fans aren’t keen on the manager and Sancho along with most of their players aren’t doing much. Sounds like the lad on loan from Chelsea has been their best player.

1982 we're all relying to an extent on anecdotal snippets, and sometimes filtering what we take away from it through our pre-existing ideas. I'm not arguing Sancho should come back to United, just that the issues around his massive disappointment are probably more complex than the prevailing "he's lazy and sнite" narrative.

Makes me wonder if ETH struggles with the "arm around the shoulder" kind of players. He seems more suited to discipline.

The best managers seem to master being able to spot which players need which method.

Four sure, not saying I know just what I’ve read.

Yeah he’s never come across as a likeable bloke tbh. I’ve said it before that he lacks charisma which I do think plays a big part in being a successful manager.

Sancho isn’t good enough, and most of his Dortmund performances this season confirm that.

The best players don't pick and choose which clubs or managers they want to play well for - they play well regardlress.

Even in seasons when utd struggled, Ronaldo still performed his best and put the effort in to try his best.

Sancho is a lazy fake who doesn't even want to try at Man Utd. Sell him to Dortmund and sign a proper world class player.

KDB decided he did not want to play for Mourinho or Chelsea. I suppose he is not a top player. Just regurgitating rubbish for the sake of it.

The arrogance of Manchester United fans to think it is not the responsibility of this club to nurture and develop. Newsflash, Rashford has stolen 350k a week from this club this season and done less running compared to sir Jim who ran the marathon.
