I've been accused of flip flopping , and it's true. But it's not completely thoughtless, there are reasons.
The two things I have against him are Antony, and the poor midfield.
But, the excuses or reasons, that things have been bad are many.
The lack of direction from above, the poor plan, or lack of, the direction we want to go. Hence the poor signings, paying over the odds on purchase and wages.
The problems with Ronaldo, Greenwood, Sancho and Antony.
Imagine where we would have been had those first three been committed and in form.
Injuries, all teams have them, but the amount we have had,
particularly in defence, have helped derail our season.
The drop in form of Rashford. The getting accustomed to the PL of Hojlund and Onano, not helped by a constantly changing defence.
Erik's had a tough time.
But he did well in the league last season, reached two finals, winning one, and even this season reaching another final.
Which is not too shabby overall.
Finally, bald fraud, definitely not, I've looked at his head carefully, and it's really bald.

I don't think any player in our squad has been good this season. Onana has been better, but fairly average still.
For me Bruno has been the best player this season, but I would give him about 6.5 out of 10. Mainoo, Garnacho, maybe Dalot also at 6. But no-one has been pulling up any trees.
I accept Mainoo made an amazing start, but too much has been expected of him and I think his form has been a bit up and down since that honeymoon period - that's more on the rest of the squad generally rather than on him

Mainoo has been nowhere near as good as the ott hype that surrounded him warranted. He’s really young and has come in and done very well, but he’s been talked up way too much, I really hope this does not damage is development. We probably shouldn’t be relying on him at his age

I think you are looking through rose tinted glass mate. He has made 1 or 2 very good saves, but beyond that, looks average.

Tbf moving his family to Cheshire, living the English country squire lifestle, in the freezing cold and constant rain,commuting into Manc every day, must be a hell.of a culture shock to the guy. Lets see if he normalises next season and letssee the diference.
