Let's see if we can get this thread running until the new season.

Departures, arrivals, optimism, pessimism, fantasy.

Wolves played a behind closed doors friendly at Compton today against Bristol City. They played four half hour periods with a completely different team used for two halves each.

Wolves won 3-0 with goals from Cunha, Hwang and an own goal

Guedes started the first game and got 30 mins in.

It was a back 4 in both games by the look of it. Dawson got some minutes as well.

Lemina captained the first 60, Hwang surprisingly the second 60.

Podence did not feature at all

Pod allegedly suspended which seems odd given Uefa said they can't act on racism in a non uefa game?!?!

One player that I could see stepping forward for Wolves next season is Bellegarde. A little unlucky with injuries last season and one of those foreign signings that took a bit of time to settle in. But I think he could become a more important player next season

Arsenal are now offering £300k for Bentley. That one will come down to what the player wants to do. No point keeping him if the move appeals to him. And I think we need a better back up keeper. If Sa got injured our season would suffer

Evidently Wolves are seemingly holding out for closer to £1m from Arsenal for Bentley, following the Gunners bid of £300k

I fully expect a deal next week for somewhere between the two valuations.

Evidently Scotland striker Che Adams has agreed a contract in principle at Torino and is set for a medical on Monday.

Evidently we have told Arsenal and Laughing Stockspurs to "get real" over their seemingly ridiculously low valuations of injury prone winger Pedro Neto.

Evidently Plymouth Argyle's manager Wayne Rooney has heaped praise on Morgan Whittaker amidst ongoing transfer rumours seemingly linking him to Wolves, stating that the forward is evidently thriving in pre-season.
