Celtoc were slightly less schite than rangers in 1st half, rangers were slightly less schite than celtic in 2nd half.

it was schite performance from both.

We had 11 shots of which 4 on target
celtic had 8 shots with 4 on target
We had an Xg of 1.58
you had an Xg of 1.25

both teams were schite
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Rangers will usually have a higher number of shots in these games. It means nothing.

Rangers players don't have the craft to build the play and create chances. They shoot on site to little effect.

Celtic keep playing until they create openings.

Simple.

aye ok Brendan , thats not what the shot map showed from the weekends game.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I prefer to rely on the evidence I see in front of me in the game.

Of course they do. Difference is when it’s an opinion versus facts.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
like I said only idiots take it in.

He is no different to any other manager iv witnessed in that regards.

Every manager talks pi$h before and after games. they dont want to actually disclose or give anything away so they feed pi$h to the media all the time.

Idiots are the ones that dont see that.

----------------------------------------------------------------------
Like I said, generically I don’t disagree. When they lie about facts then that’s different.

They shoot on site
—-
I’ve done that a few times on here.

As for managers talking piish; you get away with it when you’ve won.
If you do it after, yet another, loss, then you’re just buttering your stupid, gullible, fat fans’ holes for them.

I prefer a schite map to a shot map.

For the record we were in possession of the schite for 63% of the game which makes us the moral as well as actual victors.

The game was even in patches. Rangers agricultural hoofball can be difficult to play against and gets them some position. It sometimes even leads to chances but its not football.
Celtic had all the quality. As usual.

Rangers 4 shots on goal if I recall were

Silva soft shot from the corner of the box easily saved.
Dessers shot blocked by 3 players
Sima soft shot from inside the box straight at Hart

What was the other?

Celtic I thought were deliberately playing it slow in the first half to then hit faster second half but it turns out we were just doing our way of playing that we have done at times this season - possession for possession's sake. We tended to do that when teams did the low block and tried to counter with pace - exactly what Rangers tried to do.

Sima, Wright, Musonda all thrown up to try hit us with pace. It got a few corners but nothing much else.

I don't think Rangers played any better or worse than they did against other teams in the past few months. The difference was we played as slow as we have played in a few months. The slow block might have been the factor but then effectively Rangers set out to stop us not to take us on and failed anyway.

Butland parries a lot of shots so no surprises that Rangers lost by him parrying another shot!

When you see Bernardo’s shot from his angle, the ball swerves thus making Butland parry the ball out for Idah to slam it home. Marvellous 😃
