Why you may ask?
Well, I've had a feeling for a few weeks that whilst some results and performances haven't always gone our way we could potentially give a team a beating too.
We've created quite a few possible openings this season but not capitalised on them. What if today is the day? What if someone picks the right ball? What if we actually finish a chance or two? If we get ahead and the plan looks like its working perhaps the confidence will come flooding back?
It could all go wrong of course and we're here at 5pm on bemoaning another poor performance and result but, before games at least, we're allowed to be hopeful aren't we!
I will admit to being very disappointed for most of the season but, in the cold light of day, as sad as it is, we're in no position to truly judge any progress when we have had a load of players out all season quite a few players out. The season starts here today!
So, in the spirit of there's no point being miserable before the game, I'm going for a good 2-1 win at Wembley.

Actually was it weeks? I dunno.
All I know is, the season was done for me months ago, and I'm excited for this game today. Most excited I've been for a while.

Same page. I'm just hoping our name is on the trophy and that this week has galvanised the players. You never know. I don't think City are playing that well, well not as well as they can. If they don't turn it on today and Utd play sensibly it's not a foregone conclusion. Can see us going 2-0 up first half with City mounting a second half charge and it finishing 2-1! I hope!
