It is being held in the US, and 6 CONCACAF nations have qualified to join the 10 CONMEBOL teams.
Argentina (15/8) are the holders and favourites. Despite a bad WCQ start, Brazil are 9/4 second favourites. Uruguay at 5/1 and in great form look good odds.
Argentina are in a group with Peru, Chile and Canada. Chile still rely on their golden generation (Alexis, Vidal, Medel, Bravo etc) despite them hitting veteran status. Peru, who finished 4th and 2nd in the last 2, have had a terrible WCQ campaing, 2 points from 6 games. That could point to debutants Canada being a good bet to progress.
Mexico are 4th favourites at 11/1 but have named a squad of mainly home based players. Ecuador look good value to win Group B (13/8), and 17 year old Kendry Paez may be one to watch. Venezuela have started well in WCQ, but still rely on Tomas Rincon and Salomon Rondon. Jamaica, with a heavy English based squad, are outsiders.
Uruguay headline Group C, which includes host nation USA. Uruguay go into the tournament having beaten both Brazil and Argentina 2-0 in recent WCQ. The group is completed by the two outsiders, Panama and Bolivia.
Brazil find themselves in Group D and have had a poor start to WCQ. They have lost the last 3 and drew the one before. Despite boasting the likes of Vinicius Jr, Rodrygo, Raphinha and Bruno Guimaraes, they lack goalscorers at this level (Paqueta with 10 is their highest). One of the teams who have beaten them in WCQ is Colombia, and they will meet in Santa Clara. Unbeaten in WCQ, they are looking in good form. James Rodriguez is finding form after his English 'mare, while Liverpools Luiz Diaz is a main threat. Paraguay and Costa Rica make up the group, and neither are in good form.
Unfortunately for European audiences, most games are in the early hours. Of the 11pm kick offs, none involve the likes of Brazil and Argentina and just one quarter final is in this slot.
A risky Argentina, Uruguay, Ecuador, Colombia to win their group bet will be around 20/1.

Considering taking a week off to watch the group stages - the first week of the Copa is same time as the second week of the euros - this will result in games being on at 5,8,11pm and 2am - all that week. Sleep during the day.
The Mrs won’t be happy and the kids won’t let me lie in, but faaack it, can just kip on the sofa whilst they are at school and work.
I fancy 3/1 - Chile, Ecuador, USA, Colombia to all finish in the top 2 of their group

What odds are Colombia?
They've won 7 straight, including Brazil and Spain in that sequence, and just thrashed the US.
Unless I'm mistaken, they've gone 22 games unbeaten all the way back to February '22.
It's quite common that these results don't translate in major tournaments, but surely they're worth looking at if they're worse odds than Mexico.
