Goodbye Greenwood

Ornstein reporting we've agreed to sell him to Marseille.

https://x.com/David_Ornstein/status/1810733489156936039?t=JHJY2IDPwvFSOOylVvZSCw&s=19

Up to him now but he'll go there as don't think no is in his vocabulary.

Great news.

The Guardian are saying that that deal is agreed pending personal terms:

The deal is for a guaranteed €27.6m plus €4m in add-ons and if the 22-year-old can come to contractual agreement with Marseille and joins, his troubled United career will end. It is understood the sell-on clause is 40-50% of any fee.

Not a bad bit of business for someone that was never going to be able to play for us again after that audio was released. Think we've done ok here.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Nonsense.

He is better than anything we have, and shoukd cost any buying clubs £60-70m.

Terrible deal to appease the softy, modern day fan.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
See? You can have an opinion and I back your right to do so but calling those who disagree “softly” is wrong, different points can be made
----------------------------------------------------------------------

I don't think its wrong.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
That's because you are a moron
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Of course he is a moron. Greenwood is damaged goods. To get about £25m and 40-50% on the sell on clause was/is good business
----------------------------------------------------------------------

He isnt damaged goods. He is a brilliant footballer. Its the softies that can't look beyond an off field allegation.

----------------------------------------------------------------------

If he isn't damaged goods then why is the Mayor of Marseille against his signing? Why are United even selling him? Why aren't the best clubs interested in signing him? Why has he been dropped by a load of sponsors?

Of all the dumb things you have said, that is right up there.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Because a bunch of hysterical softies have painted him as the devil himself, when really, all we know is, he spoke poorly to his partner.

Your warped opinion doesn't alter the fact that he's damaged goods. Which is why we are getting rid. It's not even up for debate that he's damaged goods. But crack on.
