Spain would have been happier not to go 1-0 down and play the game at their own pace. That may seem an obvious statement but they are clearly a possession team happy to play a long (time not ball) game but as soon as France scored they were immediately able to step it up to another level before reverting back and seeing it out.

A lot of parallels with the English approach but with more skill and success. Expect a similar game tonight and let's hope the Dutch score first.
