Looks like a decision will be made by the end of the year on whether United decide to build a new stadium.
What do people think? New stadium or redevelopment of OT?

Have you been to Old Trafford Vengeance?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
There's no such place called "Old Trafford Vengeance"
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Maybe that could be the new name for the stadium?
(How many self-confessed Man United fans worlwide Have been to OT? Not many. Makes you wonder why it's important that we have a big new shiny stadium to people who might never use it)

For the amount of money we would have to spend on a new stadium to benefit only 1% of our fanbase, we could buy iPads and skysports prescriptions for the other 99% instead so that all of our fans could watch us. They could use the iPad to access the club shop as well so we'd make it all back in shirt sales. But only if we re-sign Pogba.

Jim is legally obligated to buy the rest of the club. I think within six years but not sure of the time.

If I recall correctly, he's not obliged to buy the club. I think he has first option at an agreed price, and if he doesn't meet that price by a specified date, the Glazers have the right to sell to a third party.

I remember reading Jim had 3 years to complete the buy out. Otherwise Glazers could look elsewhere and even force Jim to sell back his initial investment.
Its funny that nobody on here including myself is sure of the terms of the Ineos investment considering at the time we were all 'experts' on the detail of the deal.

So in simple terms, we don't know for sure! Without sorting out the ownership the stadium project may not even take off! Jim needs to hurry up and take overall control; leaving Glazers as nothing more than minority shareholders, would prefer to see the back of them completely but it may be wishful thinking.
He also needs to consider his age and think about how long, health permitting, he's able to maintain a hands on approach.

Vanity - that's all non match going fans are concerned with. We should have the best stadium in the world, one befitting our rightful place as an elite football club.

I'd happily subscribe to all Utd games if it were made available digitally as a live match day experience, I care very little about other clubs.
