Gunn redeemed himself somewhat after the goal. Not sure we have anything better tbh? Levein pushing Craig Gordon is just one of his notorious wums but it is fun seeing gnashing of teeth. It's not happening.

Portugal away only losing 2-1 is a result of sorts. We were good in flashes. Don't think any of their team is worth <£30m?

He can’t pull the wool over my eyes, BR cares about BR I have no problem with that, very very few managers give one flying fook about the club the manage over their own life’s and careers. FFS Rangers idol McCoist ripped the kkkunt right out of his so called club with the salary he took in the 4th tier, did he care not a jot. The upside is BR is and will continue to be very good at his job, why? Because it’s in BR intrests to be good for BR that being good for Celtic is a happy by product

i think a dose of reality is required sometimes.

a boring manager, with schite defenders, a schite goalkeeper, and schite centre forwards.

we are not good. dunno why people expect us to be

Don’t disagree with that. Poor squad, bar Robbo, KT and a couple of midfielders. That’s then combined with a brutally dour approach, stubbornly sticking to the same old players with zero willingness to even try younger players or anything different. Really can’t see it getting better any time soon either, hence my apathy these days.

He is letting the excuse of there being no friendlies now, all nations league, so competitive, to not blood youngsters.

He fooked the Euros approach but last night he at least got a lead and tried to hang on with it. Can't remember who was on co-comms last night but they were slating there being no distance between the mids and defenders but had we left that gap their players were so much better would just have exploited it as good teams do. He can't win. Still maintain 2-1 was decent.

Not sure Ally did rip it? He TUPE'd over and working in recruitment as you claim you should know that involves no changes in T&Cs. Now sure, the spivs could have asked him but it was symbiotic - they needed him to set the pretence and keep the fans onboard and he probably deep down knew they were raping the money out so why shouldn't he and at least it was spuriously 'staying with Rangers'.

I knew Ally's bestie around that time and any time his wages came up he urged not to believe everything being printed and implied there was a whole lot going on folk never knew but he was discreet and wouldn't elaborate.

Two decent-ish performances from Scotland. Both late defeats so feel a tad worse.

The issue with Clarke over these ties is he's stuck with 3/4 guys that have continually let him down.

Ralston - Awful player couldn't care less how hard he works, his lack of ability proves costly at this level.

Hanley - Just a big moron, little ability and even less brains.

Ralston at least is a problem that is simple to solve, two better footballers than him that when they recover from injuries should see him sent into exile.

Hanley shouldn't be playing at all. Times well up. That spot could go to any option that's younger and not a tried and tested liability.

Thought Clarke picked the right game plan and the wrong players. Didn't have the luck which could have seen us take at least a couple of points but talk of Clarke out should be binned off. Another crack at a tournament has been earned if he can get us there.

If he doesn't freshen it up, we won't qualify and he won't be in a job.

Those two are the worst but McLean should also be nothing more than a squad player, Gunn increasingly looking like he's not reliable enough.

Trouble is I don't see any better than Gunn atm?

McLean aye but a peach of a curler for McT's goal.

Billy Gilmour has been dreadful in both games. Constantly losing possession and not strong enough.

McGinn wasted and anonymous last night. Forgot he was on the pitch.

Good players not showing up is a bigger problem that bad players doing their best.

Allegedly, Clarke like a drink too so probably the pair of them sneaked into a room and got tore into the mini bar.
