Only the last sub wasn’t enforced via injury/lack of match fitness/playing like a donkey (Cunha) really.

Thinking about it, had Dorgu started a game since September either?
Maybe his legs were going too?

Also Spurs substitutions and tactical changes with a higher press had a greater impact to change the game in their favour in the second half more than United's did. Amorim was basically out manoveured by Frank yesterday. It was the desire of our best defender de Ligt yesdterday that saved the day for United.

Forced to sub Maguire. Forced to sub Casemiro. Mazraoui’s first start for something like six weeks. Cunha having a shocker.
He didn’t really have a lot of scope for improvisation, did he?
Spurs started the second half better with Odobert on, and then when our first sub was made and Amad went to RWB, I thought we improved and got a slightly better grip.
Then the triple sub happened, and again, I didn’t think we lost anything there immediately. Ugarte and Mount brought good energy, and Spurs didn’t manage to get a single shot away in the ten minute spell after that. It was only after Frank’s second set of subs that they started looking more dangerous.
At that point, Amorim had one more sub to play with, and he’s being criticised for using that now, despite the fact we have no idea whether Dorgu was able to play 90 mins.
I’d love to know whether people would rather he’d:
- Left an injured Maguire on?
- Left an injured Casemiro on?
- Left a stinking Cunha on?

All hindsight isn't it...
Our problem is we've conceded the most goals in the top 16 club so far. Our defence is pretty much relegation standard.
This manager needs to fix that ASAP, or fook off ASAP.

We've actually scored a decent amount in comparison to the other top clubs so we're OK, but we need some more depth up top too.

Preferably the latter.

He can fix it by fooking off

Yeah, there’s work to do at the back.
What’s most frustrating is that the rate at which we’re conceding goals has come down over the last five games or so, but the manner of them has been just as ridiculous to the point of becoming predictable:
- Liverpool - concede from a corner
- Brighton - concede from a corner and another set piece
- Forest - concede from a corner
- Spurs - concede from a cross (the second was just a great hit, despite the deflection, tbh)
We need to sort out defending ball into the box from wide areas (Amorim called the players out for not closing down wide players quickly enough yesterday), and particularly corners.
Lammens should help with both of those; but the players in front of him have to better.
