So I expect every game to end with everyone who makes contact with opposition player to be sent off after today.
Red card
posted 1 week, 1 day ago
In Ten Hag first home game against Spurs we had 19 shots in the first half and didn’t score and it was 0-0 at HT. We ended up winning 2-0 but the fact is that red card was never a red card. Imagine if spurs had a red card instead and we won the game yesterday. There was no reason for it to be 10 vs 11. This ref has previous against us, he even disallowed a goal when we beat you 1-3 with McTominay when like 90% of fans and pundits said it never should have been disallowed.
That ref has previous. It seems all the Manchester refs hate Man Utd. Taylor and this Kavanagh have it in for Man Utd. Its actually amazing how they are allowed to ref. Heck he is the ref who thought Fulham saving a shot with hand on goaline was a corner kick until he was forced to give a penalty lol.

I don't think it was a red but not a clear and obvious error. I doubt they'll change anything after the fact.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I think it was though, I think it was a very understandable one because of the way it unfolded (I think most people thought the ref had it right on first viewing), but it seemed like a fairly obvious error.
I guess the clear and obvious thing is where the grey area comes in.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
He slips, the player gets away from him and he attempts to stop the attack which is a yellow, however he catches him high up the leg. I don't think there was enough in it myself to be a red but I can see how some might. Therefore not a clear and obvious error, which will be why VAR didn't do anything after checking, although for me these are the incidents they should be sending the referee to the monitor. No point sending him for clear and obvious errors which is what they seem to use it for, considering the overturn rate after watching the screen.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Key things are 1) he loses his footing so by definition is out of control 2) instead of focussing on recovering his balance he makes an extra lunge to make sure he contacts Madders 3) no attempt to play the ball.
The combination makes it a potential red and it looked like the studs had caught over and above though just how much VAR should have seen maybe not too bad? Nevertheless, cannot see it being overturned.

Zirkzee and Garnacho should have scored in the first half and Rashford was onside when nearly through on goal but was flagged offside so if he scored it would have counted.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
The Garnacho chance would've required a very good finish, he hit the post and I don't think you can expect a goal in those circumstances.
Zirkzee missing chances is a running theme. He's doing well getting into the positions, but if the likes of Haaland, Kane, Salah, Solanke, Watkins had so many chances they'd be near the top of the scoring charts so far this season.

Told you that ref is a cheat. He can’t even see it and gives a straight red card the cheat.

Chris Kavanagh Tottenham MOTM. He gave a red card to Fernandes with no view of the incident.
Same ref who sees Willian save a shot with arm and gives a corner in our game against Fulham in Fa Cup. The cheat has been exposed. He is same ref who denied us a goal against Spurs away for McTominay supposed foul which never was. People wonder why Man Utd struggle, when refs kill us every game, it is like playing against 22 men every game.

A little education for some about what serious foul play is and what it isn’t.
Bruno’s challenge simply wasn’t serious foul play.

So VAR doesn't intervene because it's not a clear and obvious error by the referee, but then the red card is rescinded
Did it become a clearer and more obvious error over the course of the last 24 hours?

It’s another example of the flaws of VAR, that will never go away.
I feel for them a bit. Every second counts and they’re trying to make the right call, yet ultimately it’s an opinion.

At least we know he is a corrupt ref, no idea why VAR didn’t intervene. We will never know what would have happened now.😂 I wonder if like 20/21 season we get our revenge away.
