Too many of these performances/results, only three away wins in 2024, and your complete inability to change things when they’re not working.
It’s just not good enough.
Ange, you’re on shaky ground mate.

What is more absurd is fans wanting another manager sacked again and going through another transition phase. When Angeball is good it is very good.
Pressing the eject button every season is no good for anyone. It's usually when our mug customers, I mean fans start kicking off, Levy panics and does what they want.
Where has it got us? Facking no where.
Three more windows. Until the squad is rid of the likes Werner, and Ange is given a proper players, he stays for me. I don't care how much he spends, the squad is still short.

I've said it over & over again on your board, but it depends what you want out of your manager when it comes to him.
The thing is for what he's about & how his sees football - he is delivering! I think you're the 2nd best team in the league with the ball personally. What you wanted him for in the first place, a better team to watch, will happen with him eventually (it's already evident when you have good games). But he's just not a manager in the strictest sense of the word.
I'd be wanting him out now myself, but I like a bit more of a balanced mindset in my managers. They can have their own ideas on philosophy but they NEED to be able to compromise them from time to time & he'll never do that.

Can't see us ever winning anything with Ange, but will be happy to be proved wrong.
I think we'll muddle through this season, finish somewhere from 6th-8th, and maybe half a half decent cup run but fall short.
But.....some of the games will be enjoyable along the way. So let Ange continue, let's get a culture of attacking football instilled, then get a manager in who is capable of turning us into a winning team.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I don't mind keeping Ange on if there is progress being shown. Playing attractive football is all well and good but if you don't get the results to reflect it then just find another manager willing to play attractive football who can back it up with results. Today didn't even have any good football to it.

I can, we are just a few pieces short but after this season, the squad will be more mature and experienced.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
We’re not improving though, he’s not learning, the teams not learning, there’s no progress.
I don’t mind losing if we’ve given our all, or at least showed something, not this though.

I'm not sure we play attractive football anywhere near as much as some would have us believe.

Might be true. I think we've played well quite a bit this season but there have been a number of times in which we haven't and have had spells where we've been flat out rubbish, like today, 2nd half vs Brighton, and against Coventry.
Other attack-minded managers might be able to get us playing just as good football but with also perhaps less naivety and better tactical sense.
I'm just not seeing enough of a toughness or winning mentality being developed under him hence why losses are becoming too frequent. When a team arrives with a determined, organised structure, we're actually quite easy to beat.

16 losses in the last 37 league games…..it’s as bad as the 90s in reality

We’ve just been beaten by relegation fodder, what kind of reaction were you expecting?

If Sandy's favorite manager could only show that he had a plan B when plan A wasn't working, I'd say "give him a chance".
BUT nowhere has he shown a Plan B.
Even the Palace manager has Ange sussed out now!
So...does Mr "I always win in my second season" deserve to stay until Xmas?
Suck it up guys, expect more of the same......and see where we are at Xmas!
