Starting line up - if all are fit?

We seem to have a decent squad now, with several vying for a starting slot.
If everyone was fit and no one needed resting for any reason, what would our optimum starting team look like?

Goalie : despite some on here not being particular fans of Meslier, it is surely beyond debate that he stays as first pick

Left back: Firpo seems to have earned the spot, albeit based on his attacking potential, rather than his defensive abilities. And our mainly dominant performances mean his defensive abilities haven’t been tested too often. But this doesn’t look set to change much for the rest of this season.

Right back: Bogle too seems to have grown into the role which appears to be his now, but similar to Firpo, is based more on attacking rather defensive abilities.

Left centre back: Struik isn’t being challenged here

Right centre back : Rodon. No debate.

Defensive midfield : Ampadu will walk straight back into the role on his return. Although termed ‘defensive’ he is still effective in a dominating team going forward.

Attacking midfield: many will, understandably, put Tanaka as their choice here. And in the current structure I would too, but is there an alternative? Play Rothwell. Free up Tanaka and play him as …

No 10 : Tanaka! What has Aaronssen got in his locker that Tanaka can’t do ?

Right wing: Dan James. His pace is frightening and he’s really starting to find that final third calmness

That leaves two slots left. On this, I’m wondering whether there’s a different approach - even if it’s one I would not expect Farke will take.

Don’t play, Piroe, Joseph or Bamford !!

None have convinced as a shoe-in slot in the team. So instead play both Gnonto and Largie!!

It’s not unheard of not to play with a striker?

Then you’ve a bench of Byram, Wober, Gruev, Solomon, Piroe, Joseph, Bamford if a game needs it. Afraid to say, can’t see why Aaronssen would ever be needed to be brought on as a sub.

Accepting that structurally, it’s different to anything we’ve ever done, based on performances to date, surely that’d be the team ?

You were dead wrong on Bamford. Been robbing
the club blind 3 seasons but you and others went
to bat for him like family. Despite everyone's eyes
telling us he was sh 1 te and a malcontent earning
a ridiculous wage for fck all reward.

That's hilarious.

But, if we go up like we all expect, who gives
a sh 1 T. We'll all celebrate. And your village will
put on a sack race and they'll let you win.

Can someone explain why he's robbing a living?..

As far as I see it the club signed him to a contract, and all he's doing is what his contract says he should!..

I'm sure if Farke wants him to play he will do!..

Knowing Farke, Bamford won't be sold.

Can the club sell Bamford if he dosen't want to go?..

Farke might not have a say!..

Back to the OP, I’m one of those in favour of keeping a wining side so no changes for me and I’d go for either of the sides that have won our past two games. i.e. I can’t choose between DJ or Gnonto as starters but would defo bring on the one left out as a sub during the game … pretty much as DF has done😁. My view is that there should be no guaranteed places in the side either … so when Amps comes back, he’s gonna have to earn a place (wait for a opportunity) rather than be just given it.
