Rashford not travelling for match

I'm gonna make a prediction:

Rashford will go out on loan somewhere, to a fairly decent club, probably in Italy. But Utd will have to pay a chunk of his wages.

He will do ok, but not well enough to offer a big contract and transfer fee. So he will go out on loan next season to a different middling to high level team, do ok but not enough to warrant offering a big deal and transfer fee.

and repeat, until his career winds down to very little ending up at somewhere like West Ham in 2027

The 'new challenge' Rashford referred to was walking from Manchester to London for tonight's match.

I believe he set off immediately after the interview.

Normally when players are left out of the squad a transfer is imminent
