You're saying - as you do every window - players aren't out there. When they are. Sheff U, Burnley, Sunderland have identified their needs and they're not messing about. Meanwhile, we're dragging our feet like a leper at a barn dance.

Agree with this, not time to panic buy.
At this point of the season we are top which is good in itself but casts doubt on Farkes ability to get the most of the team.
Meslier is a problem, we cant bury our heads in the sand. Can we get better at this time? I'm not sure but I don't want our backup so is there anyone available that's actually better?
Think our most urgent need besides a keeper is a 9 and a 10
Piroe for me is a impact sub, the best in the league and Joseph hasn't shown much. This could be because we don't have a real 10.
Burnley only giving up 9 goals is 26 games is impressive.

Other clubs signing players isn’t a reason to do it. Sheff Utd have had key injuries so need to replace otherwise they’ll drop away, which has started last 6 games.
Burnley lost a lot in summer and are over performing where they expected.

We don’t have the gaps they do. Other than a keeper I can’t see a realistic signing that would improve us. Piroe is one of best strikers in the championship. Aaronson has been good. Are we going to get better than those two? If not, it’s pointless. It’s like last season, Ipswich signed Keiffer Moore and he made an impact for them but he would have been an absolutely awful signing for us

People have to take into account, any player brought in could improve the team, but they could also make it worst!..

A team with good players could improve anyone, but the only way we'll improve is by bringing in much better, which at this time of the season will take a lot of doing and money!..

A time when players are overpriced and desperate clubs will pay, are we really so desperate?..

No he didnt, he scored 8 goals in second half of season, and was vital in the run of 11 wins out of 12 🤷🏻‍♂️

Even though Bamford has done more for this club than some will let on, he's had his share of injuries, but hey, what he's done for this club while he's been here does not warrant the crap he gets, he's our player and should be treated as our player!..

Meslier, untill things change is our keeper, and that being the case people should get of his back and hope their "keeper bashing" doesn't leave a wreck in our goal, because if it does than things could magicully turn worse!..

Its great being able to use the internetty thing, its a shame the happy fingers have to abuse all they can and say, that's what the internetty is all about!..

This club is top of our league, but the way some go on at players, oh, and the manacoach it just might be making things a lot harder for them, I mean, if any of the abusers here go to work and get mobbed, would they enjoy going to work the next day?..

really frustrates me when people blame the above on us not signing a boat load of player in January...

from Jan to early April we won pretty much every game.. went from 3rd to 1st, league was in our hands.. we totally bottled it, play off final, we totally bottled it.. nothing to do with not buying players 6 months previous ffs.

ok, so lets say we had of spent money on 10/9 and GK... (firstly who half decent was even available).. but secondly, where they playing?.. who are they replacing in the first team on a run of 12 wins on the bounce?..

so they would have sat on the bench for 3 months?

how much we paying these players to sit on the bench?

who are we upsetting if we did drop a player from a 12 game winning streak?

what would be the financial implications? wages, fees?

Its all very well saying what other clubs did, so a question for our super rich 606's!..

Did we not have problems at the start of last season that had to be sorted?..

The 49ers did a brilliant job sorting out the trash around the club when they took full control, funny thing about last season is a strange one, the usual buy this and get that, but it was discussed on this board about what would have been if we'd done things the way people were demanding, it was even said we were waiting for trouble with the FL for over spending!..

ShefU got a 2pts deduction for defaulting, there was something against Leicester City and it was mentioned we were in for the same sort of trouble! ..

So, the 49ers have brought players in that some have argued are as good as if not better than what we had, and they've sorted most that nobody here has a clue about in the background, nobody knows if they're going to bring anyone in at this time, the same as nobody knows what they have or are allowed to spend, but hey, they can replace players that if they did would take more money away from what they might have put to one side for other players people here are demanding!..

I'd think if our super rich 606ers did things their way they could change their middle name to Ridsdale!..
