In other news (not worth a thread on its own) Stuart Attwell is the first referee to explain his decision on the microphone to the crowd. Can he now explain why he disallowed Addison’s last minute header as I’m still baffled.

I want to know why Mad Bobby Madley disallowed a goal and sent Chris Martin off at Burnley. It cost us a certain promotion.

Because Martin kept falling over trying to get a foul when he wasn't fouled, IMHO he wasn't fouled for his second yellow card.

Rubbish, he just fell over and hadn’t even appealed. Madley was just trying to make a statement. His statement led us on the road to where we might have gone out of business. Don’t know how you could possibly defend Madley.

Well I don't agree with the three of you he was trying to buy a foul all the time he was on the pitch, he paid the the consequences, saw it with my eyes, without rose tinted glasses

That's not my point Scouse, it was up to that point where he was trying to buy a foul, the ref had just had enough of him falling over. I'm not defending the ref for the second yellow because as pointed out he didn't claim a foul but his behaviour prior to that was wrong.

Trippier was the big cheat in that game, not Martin. He went screaming to the ref to get Martin sent off when he knew it was not a dive. Yes Martin liked falling over but the ref got that decision completely wrong. A ref shouldn’t guess, especially when the decision is such a crucial one.
