He's done.

The official line is that he's injured, but reality is he's being protected from getting injured and potentially being cup-tied... as the club / coach want to move him on pronto. Money well spent.

Always thought him a Championship player, not because he is not skillful but because a top PL midfield demands way more than talent. He will shine in the Championship but in a modern PL team there is rarely room for this type of player.
