Constantly I am hearing this chat all about how Fergie's United would win the title on about 70 points, because 'back then' the standards were pathetically low and it was easy to win the title apparently.
The fact that still-bitter fans of sides who finished 2nd to us years ago (we ruined so many childhoods and dreams you all had, didn't we?) are taking comfort in this nonsense is embarrassing.
There are multiple occasions in which, under Fergie, we achieved 90 points or more and it's also telling that we achieved it in such different eras of football. Just look at the facts:
94 points in 93/94 season
91 points in 99/00 season
90 points in 08/09 season
There are also a further 3 seasons in which we would've achieved 90 points or more, but had either a cup final to prepare for or were too distracted with Fergie's retirement to do it.
89 points in 06/07 *Title won before final day + we had Chelsea FA Cup
87 points in 07/08 *We had a UCL final to prepare for, again Chelsea
89 points in 12/13 *Mental game at WBA, 5-5, due to Fergie's retirement
Let it be known that Sir Alex Ferguson is by far and away the greatest manager that football has ever seen. You can lie to yourselves and claim it's Pep, Paisley or Shankly but deep down you all know it's Sir Alex.

I think that's being kind 😂 at no point has Culer ever demonstrated the IQ to WUM effectively.
Guy sounds like he's about to cry at the best of times and I'm sure other united fans just say it to make him slightly less embarrassing to their fan base 😂
He can't stand United near the relegation zone and the most successful team in English history are sitting at the top 😂 bless him

we've lost numerous titles on more points than fergie ever managed. he had it easy the lucky fack. pure fluke. All this Arsenal vs Utd proper rivalry bollox... Neither got close to the levels of Pep and Klopp, simple as that.
