Do we get a manager in that is young and hungry say an Iraola? Or do we bring in an old head, say an Allegri on an 18 month contract to steady the ship. Not saying that I’m a fan of Allegri, he was just an experienced manager that sprang to mind that I know is available. Either way, the club needs to try something new because the current Manager is way out of his depth, injuries or no injuries. I’d be gobsmacked, and quite frankly disappointed, if Ange is not on a Qantas flight later this week.

I prefer to win cups to winning nothing. The top four trophy that's a Woolwich thing. Spurs aim higher.
------
So we aim low and still have won multiple trophies, whereas Spurs ain't won anything since 2008.

The irony being, the only manager to actually finish higher than fourth was….. drum roll please…..
Your man Poch.

FFS let it go. Poch is yesterday's man. He left five years ago. You don't here me keep going on about Billy Nicholson, Keith Burkenshaw or Arthur Rowe Spurs trurly top managers.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
No reason not to go on about Pochettino.
We've had no one better since Billy Nicholson.
And I will read you chapter a verse about the members of the great Spurs squad of 1950/51.

Sandy thinks Ramos was a better Spurs manager than Poch. You can't have any credibility as a fan if you believe that.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yeah that was pathetic what he said.
Just proves he's a troll.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Ramos won a trophy. Poch didn't. Will always go down as as a Spurs winning manager. Disrespectful to Ramos to think otherwise. The last Spurs manager to win something, and you think Potless was better. No wonder Spurs fans get ridiculed.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
To be fair, you have referred back to the old glory days hundreds of times.

Multiple trophies!!!! Not recently, FA cups, playing the likes of Hull City in finals, when most clubs treated it as a reserve team competition.

Not as much as you lot going on about Pochettino. And even if I did, me referring to Spurs managers and teams is far more meaningful than constantly waffling on about a manager who won nothing.
Each to their own though.

Maybe Robbie Keane was a better striker than Kane too, huh? I mean he won something at Spurs and Kane didn't and that is your entire premise for thinking Ramos is better than Poch.

To be fair, Robbie Keane was immense. I’d have Keane in his prime over almost any other PL striker we’ve had.
Iraola wouldn’t come to spurs, he’s way better than that.

It just proves he has a different opinion to you which the this Spurs hating clique can't handle.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Seriously?
So a guy that did shatt all and got sacked just because Woodgate won him a cup in extra time was better than the guy who cleared out the deadwood, IMPROVED the youth and brought them through and then took us to consecutive CL finishes and a CL final was worse manager than Ramos.
Give your head a wobble and go and lie down.
That's not different opinions but talking absolute guff!
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Relax mate. You dont agree with him. He measures success and enjoyment in trophies. I dont agree with him, but playing devils advocate, for all of what Poch achieved with us, it only perpetuated the Spursy thing - 3rd in a 2 horse title race, lost 2 cup finals.
Personally i loved out time under Poch, had a real sense of pride about the club, something that we currently lack.
But Sandy is not alone on here stating the importance of trophies. Hell this season I'd take the Europa and 10th place and be delighted. We really could do with just getting that monkey off our back and move on

I wasn't trying to belittle Keane by the way because he was good for Spurs. But obviously he's not as good as Kane was. Sandy might think he is though for the same reason he rates Ramos above Poch.
