The Business End of the Season

Where do we start with this "hole" we currently find ourselves in ???

Solutions I've seen. Mainly on Twitter and DCFC "fans" I have to say - are as follows :
1. Sack Warne because its ALL his fault.
2. Sack Pearce - because he (apparently) doesnt know how to negotiate with Players.
3. Sack Clowes because he hasnt put enough money into club.

Well, IMO it may be one or all of those. Or of course it could be none of them. I feel the following play a massive part in where we are :

1. Its a fact. The Championship is a MASSIVE step up from L1....and for me it has changed hugely over the last few years.
2. The Championship, like the Prem is made up of haves and have nots. Derby currently are in the 2nd category.
3. Many of our players just arent up to the rigours of this league and our bench is definitely L1/L2.
4. The January transfer window whilst having improved us - hasnt solved our issues. Its (apparently) a fact that the January window is notoriously difficult to navigate unless you have really deep pockets - we havent sadly.
5. Injuries. To date the following are injured / have recurring issues : Nyambe, Ward Wilson, Elder, Nelson, Philips, Osborne, Brown, Ozoh, CBT...Have i missed anyone??? Thats 10 players. Its no wonder we're struggling IMO.

Solutions. Well, make your own mind up. Replace Warne ? Well the management team come as a 3. Warne, Hammy and Ritchie B. 18 months on each contract remaining to pay up. Then bring in who - that you can guarantee will make a difference when 10 of your 1st team are out ??
Having looked at our U21s/U18s honestly the only one who (to me) currently looks capable of potentially stepping up is Cruz Allen. Its a massive step from Boys football to the Championship.
I dont claim to have an answer...only to just get behind the team and lets get 4th from bottom...and build from there.
So what do we think ???
Cheers. Terry. UTR

Yes that's a bit of good news at least. How different it would all feel if we could somehow conjure up a win.

Have you decided to make the pilgrimage to Carrow Rd, vidal?

Exactly Vidal. 2 or 3 scrappy wins and some plucky draws in the next few weeks and it'll be "Warne IN" all over ....
