Not quite. Marseca has changed the system a few times. I'm not sure Ange is aware you don't have to play some equivalent of 433

You most definately have to question the quality of some of these managers in the P/L today, I mean we have multi million pound players, who just don't live up to their cost/billing ,not just at Chelsea /Spurs/ManU etc, so is it the players or the managers or the people upstairs who are not doing their jobs properly ?

Well in Spurs case it’s the manager

United - bought loads of schitt and the new man needs time

Chelsea - Boehlys billions, difficult for anyone to create an actual team

United - bought loads of schitt and the new man needs time

Chelsea - Boehlys billions, difficult for anyone to create an actual team

Levy is the biggest problem of course - but also the toughest to solve. Other managers have fared much better under him

Football's recent obsession with club identity & playing philosphy is the culprit.

Spurs & Ange is a unique case as the Mourinho/Conte reigns caused Levy to violently overcompensate (once Ange goes, he should return to form). But it's everywhere. This is the only era where Bayern replace Champions League winner Thomas Tuchel with recently relegated Vincent Kompany.

It's a fad. It'll fade.

Can you tell me what is our Identity Dev ? as a fan for many years, I feel less identity with Chelsea now, than I ever have done !

Playing identity seems flexible, formed by the squad assembled (where there's a clear identity) which is currently centred around midfield ball rotation with quick attackers - though with a manager that doesn't favour turnovers makes it a little confusing.

Club identity is a high end take on the Red Bull model, or I'd like to call "Football Manager beta testing"

Devil, midfield ball rotation with quick attackers !
and the ball nearly always being passed backwards/sideways at low speed, and then back to a dodgy goalkeeper ! aye aye aye !

Please don't mention the Red Bull model, in Germany, outside of Leipzig, you might be accosted quite heavily !
