We could do worse than

David Moyes next time around.
Partly tongue in cheek, well completely actually, but he's proving he's a good manager.

Oh, and City to finish second.

Then United will need to get a manager in that can work with the players we have and have to keep, plus the talent that seems to be coming through these days and win as many games as possible in the Premier League. Starting tomorrow. If Amorim cant win games with what we he has then he will have to leave. We actually have United fans who think that results dont matter these days.

----------------------------------------------------------------------

So another £15m to sack him and his staff and another how much to bring in the successor? PSR woes only get worse in that scenario. Much worse.

As I keep saying.....the Glazers model (I hate even calling it that) only works when we are in Europe most seasons. 5 to 6 years in bottom half would work. We'd be absolutely screwed.

Just need them gone now. Preferably dead but I will settle for 100% gone. 😂

just tell Amorim he has to change his plan... he says he will walk, so no payout

Amorim doesn't have to change his formation but he does need to tweak it. We need to go defensive and play compact. It's the only times the system has looked good.

We can't afford to take beating after beating for next few months as the club with the 4th highest revenue in the world (third if you don't include the cheating Oil club). The optics are horrendous.

He just needs to accept where we are now as a squad and adapt. Doesn't mean going back to a back 4. Keep your 3 CB's but make some changes so we don't lose every week.

He has done for a good few years now albeit in a much different league.

It's pretty evident we can't do what he's asking for without several new additions which we now can't get until the summer at the earliest. He needs to adapt now
to try and get a few wins. If that means parking the bus and springing on teams with Garnacho and Hojlund on the break then so be it.

I'd rather win a few more games playing defensively than lost every week. And against City, Arsenal and Liverpool we competed well and kept compact for the most part. Need to do same again tomorrow. Worst thing we can do is go blow for blow with anyone. We arent good enough to do it and which is why we lose most weeks.

Moyes is a decent manager, but not elite to take on a club like Utd. But since he was fired, club’s been making stupid decisions with manager appointments and recruitment.

I really want Amorim to succeed but if the owners knew we got no money to be able to upgrade the team to suit his style, why appoint a manager who plays such a different system from the last one who spent £600mil to play his style (whatever that was). They should have looked at the squad and hire a manager that would have required least amount of work, since we don’t have the money to replace tons of players.

The amount of stupid decisions the board has made for the past 12 years is insane. And we are where be are now because of it. Pound for pound by far the worst run club in Europe.

Is Amorim an elite manager? Far from convincing right now.

His only problem was agreeing to come mid-season, IMHO.
