The process of acquiring away tickets confuses me.
I read all the time that it’s via ballot and that chances are slim, yet on social media I see the same people going to literally every game both domestically and in Europe. They seem to be fairly young kids too so I can’t see how they’ve built up loyalty. How is this possible?

If it’s anything similar to Liverpool away tickets it’s a closed shop.
You’ve got to have all the games from the previous season on you’re card, so it’s the same people all the time.

You've more chance of striking oil in your back garden than getting an away ticket for United.

City now have to sell 30% of away tickets to under 25s.
I don't know if that's a league-wide policy.

I don't believe it is. Fair play to City though for doing that. 👍

Yes they say it’s a ballot, I know somebody who has got tickets to all but 3 away games via ballot this season. We’ve applied for every game and got none.

Blackburn, Bolton and Wigan are big losses to the PL. Short journeys and away tickets were much easier to get hold of.

Means I've got no chance now some spotty youth will be getting my ticket.
