Back home at Molineux after three games on the road and back in the race for Premier League survival. Plenty of reasons for optimism after a hard earned away win at Bournemouth, and having beaten Fulham at Craven Cottage earlier in the season, no reason to think we cant do it again. Well, apart from Alex Iwobi of course, and Raul Jimenez, Adama Traore and a number of other well known threats. But hey, we know we can match them on our day and converting the unexpected away win in to 4 or 6 points would give us an healthy cushion to 18th with Ipswich & Leicester playing later in the week.
Good to see Larsen back on the field on Saturday, he could start, hopefully Cunha is fit after reports that he missed training before Saturday's match and looking tired at the end of it.
Delighted to have got the Bournemouth prediction wrong after 2 rare correct ones, I'm going for a 2-1 home win here.

I recognise, like most supporters the realities of modern elite football transfers. We all know that Cunha won't be with us that long. What rankles is the hypocrisy.
When the club say they are delighted that a player is committed to stay for the foreseeable future, they mean committed until the next transfer window.
When a player says he loves it at the club and never wanted to leave, he means the only things he would love more are Spanish sunshine and twice as much salary.
C'est la vie, or perhaps así es la vida.

With West Ham beating Leicester tonight it means all the bottom 4 lost in this round of matches. As we have 5 more points and a better goal difference compared to the others, a status quo benefits Wolves more than the other teams. Leicester and Southampton now have 11 games left and need to win two more games than us. And despite our disappointing result on Tuesday, they are showing little signs of doing better than us. No doubt the key games will be when we play Ipswich and Southampton away and Leicester at home.

For the second FA Cup round in succession the Wolves game is, I believe, the only one not to be broadcast on terrestrial TV.

Ten points from our next four matches will see us safe.

I think I would trade those 10 points for 9 in the next 7 matches, as long as those 9 come from Southampton, Ipswich and Leicester.

In fact, WO you're probably right. Just the 6 points from Leicester and Ipswich will be enough. Southampton are down. The other 4 points will take care of themselves.

We move into March tomorrow and it’s ridiculous fixture planning that the only home game all month will be against Everton on March 8th. That’s unless we get a home draw in the 6th round of the cup

Agbadou, Rodrigo and Guedes remain unavailable tomorrow.but Hwang is fit to return to the squad

9 of our next 11 matches are against the 9 teams around us in the table, 3 below and 6 above (only Brighton and Man City are from the top half). 6 of the 11 are at home (although I don't know how much of an advantage that is).
If we can't get the required points from those game we probably deserve to go down.
