Piroe's goal last night made him the 4th Leeds player in history to score on every day of the week for Leeds.
For a fun mini quiz, can anyone state who the other 3 are?
1. Midfielder = Bowyer (VOF)
2. Wide attacker = Summerville (VOF)
3. Striker = Bamford (Sir Kenneth)
Piroe - Fun fact

Who was the quickest to complete it? We know it took Piroe 85 games.
Bamford - 198 games, 60 goals
Bowyer - 265 games, 55 goals
Piroe - 85 games, 29 goals
Summerville - 89 games, 25 goals

Impressive from Piroe given he's only been here 2 seasons, so probably only played once or twice on a Thursday

I actually thought that the Friday would be the tough one? No idea why I just thought they’re rarer games (can’t stand them myself!)

The more modern the player the easier it has become due to the amount of fixtures that are rearranged for telly.

Id have thought James would have scored on all the typical days (Tue/Wed/Sat/Sun) He's probably scored on Monday's too so justbThursday for him. Gruev has only acored on a Thursday so that's an easy one to remember 😅

Was very unlikely in Lorimer's time as games were not played on every day of the week like now. Pre Sky vast majority of games were Sat 3pm or Weds night with a few exceptions.

Still staggers me how those teams effectively had 12 man squads. Bonkers
