Bielsa team v Farkes?

Saw this on X....

"A question for my fellow Leeds United supporters.
I know that Bielsa-Ball was unique, sexy, and breathtaking at times, but whose team would win if they were to play each other:
Bielsa's Leeds United or Farke's Leeds United?

It's a good ask.

The normal "who would win versus Revie's Leeds" is an impossible comparison of apples and pears.

But Bielsa and Farke's recency helps.

Farke has better players.
Bielsa is the better player coach

Someone commented "it'd end up 5-5" !

I'll take that one

Beilsa rather unique - I'd always say Bielsa.

I totally get the argument about defensive frailties, I just think his brand of football really was amazing, the ability to play players out of natural position, the intensity..

honestly I'm convinced given a massive budget (which he'd utterly hate anyway), we'd see one hell of a side. Think that would be better than these boring big games short passing to each other for 90 mins too tbf

Farkes vs Bielsa - 2-4, be a great game, Bamford 2, Helder Costa and Cooper

Spanish it's a guarantee that Bamford would miss this hyperthetical match. So no way he's scoring. Outside of that, it's a great question.

For me Bielsa wins in the 99th minute of added time.
Final score 8-7.

Come back to me in 15 months time and see if Farke is still in charge and where we finish in the (hopefully) Premier League.

One thing is clear. Farke is more adaptable in his style and tactics.

Bielsa ball was too predictable, so by the second EPL campaign, most managers had sussed out how to counter his style of play.

I’m going to surprise everyone and go with Farke, because I believe he would be under that umbrella of managers who would successfully counter his style.

Farke 4 Bielsa 2

How do you feel Farlenhas done with playing some of the players out of position?

Archie Gray, Byram, Ampadu, Wober, Piroe, James and Gnonto swapping sides.

Real, a great question

and to be honest, opinion has starting change ref Farke... start of the season I was convinced he may well win us the league, but that's more to do with the squad, and prob would have said he's maybe not our man going forward... I have to say, Farkes work this season has astonished me actually.

I think his man management and the dealings of some awward situations, BA springs to mind... but also the Mes situation... players and dressing room seem to be fully behind Mes.
