FA Cup fifth round and its back to the south coast, scene an excellent result last weekend. Hwang is fit, R Gomes, Agbadou & Guedes still unavailable.
Pereira didnt shuffle too much in the previous rounds against Championship clubs so no reason to expect he will this time, but there looked to be some tired minds and legs on the field later on Tuesday evening so maybe some regulars could start on the bench.
First match with semi automated offside tech for us, lets see if the machines have it in for us as well as the (barely) human officials.
Would love to see us progress, and although as it turned out no great damage was done by our defeat on Tuesday, League has to be the prime focus. Firmly on the fence with this prediction - 1-1 pens could go either way.

Hopefully we will retain our Premier League status and give these squad players some minutes next season.
Needless to say they’ll be a mass exodus in the summer, regardless of what division we are in.

I know he's denied it before but I'm more convinced than ever now that cinci is RAN's dad. Wonder if he's aware he could qualify to play for Scotland?

I admire RAN's footwork and skill at times, but it's always around the half way line. As a wing back, I'd like to see him take on players and put crosses in for Larsen. I do think he's lost some of his speed, hence his reluctantance to take players on down the line.

Cunha will get some football in March after all. He has been included in Brazil’s squad for their World Cup qualifiers against Argentina and Columbia towards the end of the month. Andre in the squad too.

Really disappointed with Chunha. We negotiated the new contract including the ridiculously low buy out clause, on the understanding he gave us the rest of the season and help us stay up.
Now, it’s looking likely he’s going to miss the majority of our remaining fixtures.

Agr ee with that sentiment WO. In a couple of weeks he has gone from hero to near zero in my mind. During the January window I was glad we were going to keep him for the rest of the season, now I'm thinking the unthinkable - Had we had an offer which triggered his release clause, may be a sale would not have been the end of the world.
After all we can be sure that the club would have invested the money wisely in another top forward .

I notice that the half-time entertainment on Saturday will feature the Wolves U-16 disability team. I've always genuinely enjoyed these guys in the past.
Someone on here (was it Tino?) said he has a lad who plays for them, if I remember rightly. Will look out for him if he has a recognisable shirt name.

Everton boss David Moyes on his opinions of a 20:00 GMT kick-off on a Saturday: "I'm normally a bottle of red wine down by that time on a Saturday!
"If you're a traditionalist then you probably don't see 8PM on a Saturday night as a good kick-off time but it's the way it's going and I think football clubs are signing up to it due to the money that is coming in from the broadcasters. We have to go with it even if it will ruin some people's Saturday night out."
Couldn't have put it better myself David.

One of my mates is giving this match a swerve, Saturday night is traditional family time for him. Must admit I dont really like it either, train services arent going to be great back home, they have scrapped the last service north from Brum on Saturdays which was always rammed, nuts.

Yes, I'll be home about half past midnight. However my social life is such that I have very little better to do.
