Michael Oliver...

The best ref in England...

Once again he finds himself centre stage for more than one reason...

The FA are trying to extend the 3 match ban for Millwall 'keeper Liam Roberts. Michael Oliver, the ref in that game, thought it was a fair challenge and played on - ignoring the fact Mateta suffered a bad head injury.

Also, the reason for Arne Slot's red card and 2 match ban have been revealed - with the Liverpool manager suggesting if Liverpool don't win the title it is Oliver's fault. That comes from the Merseyside derby where Oliver was heavily criticised and the game ended in farce with FOUR red cards after the final whistle.

The best ref in England!!

Do you think there should be an official UEFA/FIFA ranking of referees? Like an open one where we can go on and see where refs are. See that they lose points for a bad match and go down the ranking? SEE CONCEQUENCES.

Yes. It should be an online voting "rate the ref" system. But to be allowed to "rate the ref" you have to pass a quiz on the laws of the game. Can't have just any Tom, Richard or Lagos Larry on "rate the ref".

This would certainly help stop other PL refs logging in to vote and protect their mates.

Michael Oliver should be banned for a period of times. Too many bad decisions in a short period of time.

That is not acceptable.

Does a PL ref even make a 10 ten in England?

I'd imagine there's refs further down the leagues or even in amateur football that could do a better/more honest job.
