It’s hard to think of a comeback story quite as good as his in recent times. He was once upon a time the next big thing and got a huge money move to Barca but injuries and form issues turned him into a huge flop.
Then he goes to PSG and does relatively well but it’s really this season where he’s exploded into one of the best players in Europe and if he can keep this up he has a real chance of helping PSG win the CL.
He’s often been linked with us late in the transfer windows as a wildcard cheap signing and looking at how good he’s been recently it could be seen as a missed opportunity but in reality I doubt at our circus he’d have rediscovered his very best form so fair play to Enrique for helping to unlock it.

I can't imagine Dembele would have thrived in the environment at Utd tbh.
A lot of credit must go to Enrique. PSG look like a real team, finally.

I find this PSG side both a lot more humble and enjoyable to watch since it shifted from its superstar era to emphasis on team cohesion and buying up younger players on their way up. Doué looks as though he's going to be a phenomenal footballer.

Had no idea he is 19, didn't look out of place at all.

He was very good against Liverpool, i've not watched PSG other than the odd CL game this season so hard to give an informed opinion on him but I'd like to see him do it against the very best.
This Liverpool have comprehensively seen off all challengers in the Premier League but I think we seen over the two legs, that they're not really that great. A solid team with the greatness of Salah is all that it's taken in the season to win the PL given the pathetic form of their challengers. I feel like Liverpool looked like an aging side against the energy PSG offered.

I think that’s fair isn’t it? They’ve been solid in the league with Salah being unplayable at times but I wouldn’t put them up there with the top sides in recent years. You take out Salah and Alisson and I think you’re left with some very good players but not any of the best in the world.
Slots done a brilliant job with what he’s got but PSG fully deserved going trough and they’re not even the favourites.

He’s always been very talented and in full flow so good to watch. With no injuries his career would be good to see. Still glad to see him develop some form showing his ability again

Aye but it's a shooty in league with one dominant team, just like Scotland.

He's always been a top player. Problem was his attitude and application.
Looks like Enrique has managed to sort that out and hes turning that potential into reality. Plus his helps that he seems to be over his injuries.

I'm surprised you like him Robb being as he's a racist and all.
