What a game for the home supporters! A comedy of errors from the Spurs defence and a master class from goalkeeper Guglielmo Viconana, what has happened to this guy since he came back from injury?
In truth, we made it much harder than in needed to be with Semedo showing his defensive frailties on the back post once again FFS
The Spurs away supporters were very muted, seemed resigned to defeat even before the match kicked off. A touch of gallows humour in the second half when the South Bank did a rendition of “You’re fackin Shiite" and the Spurs fans joined in!
Many Spurs fans use their league position compared to Wolves as a benchmark for success these days, which just highlights how bad they are currently. Honestly don’t think any of the current Spurs starters would get on our bench.
I don’t know much about Frankfurt and I’ve never seen them play, but I’m expecting another heavy defeat for the North Londoners on Thursday.

This is lowest I’ve ever seen us - and I don’t mean league position. The only silver lining is that we should be guaranteed survival by about 4pm Sunday.
There is so much wrong, but the thing that annoys the most is we concede the same faaaacking goal/chance over and over again where the full back is out of position - we defend like and U7 side.

Def sounds like us - just a season of conceding the same goals over and over again. Our keeper has poor distribution - Ange’s plan, play it out from the back under pressure and mainly through the keeper. Our first choice right back can’t defend and is as slow as faaaack - Ange’s plan, have him camped in the oppositions half. We concede from corners and set pieces - Ange’s plan: don’t practice defending corners and set pieces.
I wonder what the true damage of this season has really been - better quality players won’t be interested in joining, our better talents could have their eye on the exit, the youngsters have had a year of little coaching and tactical expertise. We’ve massively gone backwards

I will say for Ange that Spurs games are usually entertaining to watch if low on quality. Only Liverpool and Man City have scored more and only the bottom five have conceded more. Over all 109 goals in their 32 games. No team can match that.
