win the Europa this season, despite the poor Prem form. But it is now patently obvious, that baring a big turnaround in form, that this set of players are not up to it. The comedy of errors yesterday was only the culmination of the errors you see in every Spurs game, at any given time, from any given player. Four goals conceeded, four basic errors. No way can a team win a Tournament, let alone a game with that many mistakes pretty well every game now. I am not one of those that by thinking change the manager and all of a sudden the whole scenario changes it won`t. Both West Ham and Man United have tried that recently, if anything both have got worse. That said a new manager may come in, but it won`t change a thing. The players are not suddenly going to morph into prime Barca players, they are simply not good enough.
The whole spine of the team, Vicario, Romero, Maddison and Solanke are in such woeful form, if they ever actually had any, that unless a dramatic turn of events happens then next season may be even worse than this season. Relegation battle for sure unless suddenly senior players start to up their game dramatically.
I wouldn`t blame Ange if he walked, quite frankly. He has given every player a chance, and very few ever turn up. The truth is they are a pretty average bunch of players, most would not look out of place in the Championship. Big rebuild needed again, although I doubt the funds are now available, having spent so much over the past few years.
I will still however get behind the team, manager, owners 100 per cent, as Spurs are my team, and they will be for the rest of my life. I don`t walk away in the bad times. Having seen the team relegated, a struggle in the division is not new to me. However, that said, I cannot ever remember a Spurs team making so many errors that lead to goals conceeded. Yesterday from the moment Sarr gave away a needless freekick in the 1st minute, until Bergvall lost the ball in the 2nd half, the number of mistakes was criminally high for a so called professional football team.
It is what it is though, and with all that said above, I still haven`t given up completely on getting a result on Thursday, but it will take a mammoth effort, and for some of the underperforming so called senior players to up their game 100 per cent. Ange for all this faults, still has only lost one of nine Europa matches this season, and that was with a scratch side.

I had high hopes that Spurs could

Why is Ange absolved from blame?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Because he doesn't actually play. May as well blame the supporters as well. He picks the players. They don't perform. They make the basic mistakes every match.
To many players vastly overrated by our fanbase.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Funny how Ange is absolved of blame because he doesn't actually play but Poch is to blame for the lack of success during his period. Try and make that make sense in Sandy's world.

Don't think people are getting wound up by him, just pointing out his idiocy.

Was about to write the same thing. The hypocrisy is just astounding. So much so that I KNOW he knows it's all bullshiiiit. As Bales said, he's just on a wind up and we fall for it every single time. I freely admit I bite more than most. Maybe it's just time to ignore him if he's not going to bring rational arguments to the table.

This squad is just not playing any kind of controlling football.
They just gave the center of the field away to Wolves.
God knows what Maddison and Sarr and Bissouma thought they were doing.
Maddison seems to take a rest every few minutes. Spence was the only one putting in 100% effort in Midfield.Vicario had a night off from goal keeping.
Its a disjointed performance and I think the manager is to blame.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
One of Spurs worse players was Romero, Ted, along with the goalie. Both 1/10 or maybe 0/10.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Actually, had you watched the match ...Romero was Spurs best player until minute 64 when he made a really idiotic blunder trying to roll the ball right to the keeper instead of simply putting it out of play on the left.
He got picked off!
And he damned well knew it was a blunder.
I think he may need a little sports psychology before playing again.
But that does not make him a bad player, Sandy.
It makes him a big headed idiot who thinks he can do anything at Spurs. He's had his lesson.

Pochettino had five seasons. Zero excuse. All managers since have had barely two. All can be absolved, other than Pochettino, who had more than enough time to land trophies. The fact that since he had left Spurs, he has also done next to nothing, makes him less than an average manager.

Curious, Sandy. Why do you think he got five seasons and the others only 2 on average?
Maybe, and hear me out on this, he worked miracles which justified a contract renewal that others never deserved. The clue about how good he was is clear in the length of time he served.
Another question - if you believe all other managers are absolved of blame, does that then mean that you're happy for Ange to get another season at least? Even though we could easily finish 17th this year?

He knows full well Poch did a good job and Ange is doing a bad job. He even wanted Ange out after the Coventry performance. We have the proof of it somewhere where he says he still wanted him out despite the win. No fan changes their mind about a manager they wanted out when the form only gets worse and worse. So he's obviously doing it for the attention/to be a contrarian/to wind us up. I admit I bite too but it's still kind of satisfying showing up his wrongs.

Finished 18th under Nicholson. Relegated under Burkenshaw. Completely irrelevant where Spurs finish. Could just as likely finish top three next season. That's how football works. So forgive me for not getting suicidal if Spurs finish 17th this season. New season starts in a few months. Could be completely different. Forest rugs season and Leicester a few seasons back proved that.
