Saw the recent when do you think we will go up and changed it.........
1989/90 - promoted at Bournemouth. I watched the game beamed back to the Astoria in Harehills.
1991/92 - Title won whilst watching Liverpool beat Man Utd on the tv. I attended the 3-2 win at Bramhall Lane (on my own in the home end) and drove back up the M1 in my ford escort mark ii.
2009/10 - promoted at Elland Road. It may have only been league one but the drama and intensity that day was second to none. Gradel, Howson, and then captain Beckford scoring. Running on the pitch with my young son that day was amazing.
2019/20 - promoted whilst watching Huddersfield on TV during covid times. Banished from the family house for being an NHS worker I watched from the garden through the conservatory window then broke all the rules (the only time!) to drive down to Elland Road to watch some celebrations from the periphery.
There is absolutely no doubt in my mind that winning promotion at Elland Road has to be the choice. The game against Preston was just as it should be. Scores from elsewhere rippling around the crowd and a crescendo of noise erupting from the home faithful as the pressure was lifted. It was a special day to be inside Elland Road.
Sadly due to "Sky TV is fking sh1tt" it is unlikely that we will win promotion whilst sat in the stands. The change to the fixtures to ensure the three chasing teams do not play at the same time is not only a complete disregard to away fans who have booked flights, trains and hotels but its also why the obsessed football fan is slowly becoming a dying breed in this country. Special moments will become rarer but sky and clubs do not care. The obsessed football fan is being slowly replaced by hospitality and day trippers. Its a crying shame.
Its possible it could happen whilst inside Elland Road but I think the odds are stacked against this when considering the way the fixture list is set.
(ps whilst i remain confident, this is all written on the possibility of Leeds united being promoted. Its an if not when)
When do you want to go up?

Welcome distraction, because it was bang in the middle of covid and I didn't have an immune system visitors were limited at best, so anything to take my mind off of it was welcome

Monday please!
If that is as a result of SU dropping points, then so be it!
We could of course draw one, win one, they lose to Burnley, game over!
The stress is real, my mind is rarely anywhere other than permutations at present.
ASAP!!!

ill be absolutely gutted if we go up sat in a pub just because Sheff don't beat Burnley
Beggars cant be chooser but I pray Cardiff get a result tomorrow and we beat Oxford and then we can do it off our own backs on Monday.

I'm the same.
Think it will be following the Burnley Sheff Utd game though.

The way our fixtures have been manipulated this season is outrageous, and unnecessary. Sky have gone out of their way to maximize our fatigue and hinder fans getting to games. No point asking the EFL to get involved either, they are just happy to keep the Sky money coming in. If we get promoted, we should ask who decides when and where we play because we have been hugely disadvantaged.
