Aaron Ramsdale

Is he a keeper Leeds should look at?

Can't see him wanting to play in the Champ.

Sell Mes, and keep Darlow as a back up?

Don't forget Ampedu suffered 3 relegations before he signed for Leeds so it doesn't always follow that relegation trend sticks with a player unfortunate to have those experiences but I do think £30 million is far too much for Leeds to pay for Ramsdale so maybe a year long loan with a view to buy for £20million if we survive our first season back in the Premier League.

Was just listening to talk sheite ont radio and Bent and Goldstein both think we have no chance of staying up because they can’t see any of the current 17 teams getting relegated.

Thought it was a bit strange to make that statement before this season is even finished, or any transfers have been made.

Fulham
Wolves
West Ham
Brentford

Just a few that could lose 2/3 key players, Cunha, Mbemo, Bowen, Kudus, pick up a few injuries and easily find themselves back in the championship. We only need to to do better than 3 other teams.

I think Ramsdale would be a good acquisition, but we need to be ruthless and probably make 5/6 changes to our starting 11 with big money signings. I don’t think the prem has ever been stronger and we need to use all our pulling power.

It's an obvious call for them to predict going on the last couple of seasons but like you say those clubs you mention plus Man U and Spurs could easily find themselves involved in a proper survival fight if their current form continues and/or they lose key players to injury which in Spurs case seems to be an unlucky tag they have acquired recently.

Goals are what keep you up so that is the most important signing for Leeds to get right.

Such a big task structuring the team and squad for next season I’m trying not to think about it just yet.. totally just thinking about the next two games and winning the league..

Would like to see gray get minutes

I’m not even sure I’d keep Farke for next season.

Keeper, striker, ten? Who’ already good enough for the prem?

Too much rubbish about teams cant stay up, trendy and edgy to say it but lets look at what really happened.

22/23 All three promoted sides stayed up, all in top half this season, with one who could get Champions League.

Three who went down, two were established, one had finished top 5 in 3 out of previous six seasons including winning it. The other had been in for three seasons but pisted away a load of money and collapsed in last ten games

23/24

Two basket case clubs financially went down in Burnley and sheffield united

The other had gone from league two to prem in five years, simply not possible to stay up under them circumstances, what a story though

24/25

Two basket case clubs financially, gone back down.

Other had two promotions on bounce out of nowhere, after years in wilderness, again, fairytale story and the infrastructure just isnt there yet.

So who are the 3 teams that will make way for this seasons promoted teams? Looks pretty odds on that all 3 go back down again. We have a chance, but who are we replacing? We need someone to have a stinker of a summer window.

Wakey’s right, this ‘guaranteed to go back down’ stuff is overplayed and not based on fact… over the last 20 years there’s been a slight trend to more promoted clubs going back down but it’s far from being a foregone conclusion.

On the flip side I do agree that standards are rising in the PL and there seems to be less ‘perennial strugglers’ as obvious contenders to go down this year. It’s hard to pick one - but often it’s some team(s) you don’t expect having a shocker.

The side we have now is better than any of the teams that are coming down, in my opinion, so we have a base to build on. Won’t be easy but we don’t have to be whipping boys.

The promoted sides that do better tend to be pragmatic. The question is can/will Farke adapt. We’ve shut down championship teams this year but can we do it to prem teams? Can he get the balance right…Will he have learnt from his Norwich experience?

Havent a clue mate, its four months away from start of season, literally do not know what anyone squad will look like 🤷🏻‍♂️

Everton are 13th with Jack Harrison (no axe to grind at all with him, very good player for us) who has appeared 29 out of 33 games, with ONE goal and one assist ALL SEASON !!!!!! Willy, james and Solomon are all better players than him.

It really isnt that deep, its just a narrative to say the prem is that good.

Imo, 2 are already relegated (Burnley and the playoff winner. We have a chance and only us

I don’t know about that, Shaun, Man U are in Everton-mode right now, and have accrued a mountain of debt from Ten Haag. If Bruno leaves, they are in trouble, I think. West Ham could be another one in trouble next season. If we bring in five good players, I think we will be fine.
