Pre Season Wishlist

It's a tough decision I'm glad I don't have to make. On one hand he got us promoted and may (should) win us a trophy but many times this year I was dead against his lack of giving playing time to our squad. One thing for sure we'll never know what the best choice would have been unless some smarty on here can view alternate universes.
Either way I'm excited already for next year.
Just hope we don't prematurely fire anyone.

Firstly, NO to getting rid of the manager who has got us 90 or higher points for the last two seasons - this one better than the last despite losing £140m of players in the Summer!

I think we need to heavily invest in some new defenders. Top level replacements for Firpo, Wober and competition/cover for Ampadu.

Firpo could be kept as a makeshift winger if need be as that's where he's played for most of the last season (even though he was LB)

Without a defence which can withstand a fast counter, we're going to struggle. That's the kind of attack that seemed to cut through us like butter for the last couple of seasons or longer.

I think the 49ers are going to do things the way they've been doing so far, so people can put all the names they want up and traum weiter, because we'll see like most of the players they've brought in so far nobody here will know much if anything about them!..

They keep quite and in a way that's the best way, not letting others know who you're after and rooting for the best of the unknowns!..

If we could find a 25 Premier league goal scoring injury free centre forward gem for a bargain that would be on the top of my wish list and I agree about the Farke speculation timing being in bad taste but we don't know whether behind the scenes relations have soured
somewhat between DF and Parraag over the Meslier. issue to the extent the owners have deliberately had this new coach rumour released via the Daily Mail to test the water and are working on a DF replacement which for me would have to be a pretty big name to justify this decision and one way or the other that decision to stick or twist has to be done quickly now in the best interests of the club and out of respect to Daniel Farke.

I don't think anyone is trying to shut down the thread, i'd certainly not want to. However as others have hinted it's a debate forum - contrary opinions/views should be expected surely? Surely that's the point of the site?

I'm against the timing of the conversation, but that's just my view. Is there a conversation about the manager to be had in time, yes probably there might be, again that's just my view.
