I note Luke Molyneaux only made the League 2 team of the year and the sole Rovers representative in the League 2 yearly awards.
Looking at Rovers' season it was hardly one of consistency. GM seemed to take the view that quantity rather than quality would win the day. And so it proved that having a relatively large squad is necessary at this level. There have been some stand out players though. My pics would be Olowu and McGrath and of course Molyneaux. Though my player of the season vote would go to Owen Bailey. Always putting in 100 % and latterly shoring up the defence. I don't get to see full games at all so would welcome thoughts from those that do. GM has a pedigree to get out of League 1 but he'll need to strengthen the squad a fair bit to have a chance next season.

I doubt whether there is a better CB than Olowu, but because he is so versatile (and maybe because he was not on show for these past few weeks) he has missed out.
In these final games we’ve also seen Sterry score goals whereas he and Molyneux were probably the most significant attacking partnership all season. Those who cannot see past stats have also consistently marked TSL down whereas I think he has been a real mainstay of the defence, though seemingly destined for a Championship loan in 25/26. Perhaps if Hull get relegated they will lend us TLT, since it would make him No.1 instead of No.3 for a League 1 club.

It is easy to say Molyneux, but he had several "off" days. I think I'd look more to consistency, and Bailey and Olowu, and possibly TS-L and McGrath qualify there.
With no time lost to injury, Bailey is hard to ignore, but I think I'd nominate Olowu as he is the one of the two that it might be worse to lose. I hope as we made League One he will agree to a new contract.
I want to keep TS-L, and would he rather be #1 here than sit on the bench at a Championship team? I would hope Chelsea would appreciate how the manager and staff here have developed him in his first loan and could see him improving much more with us in League One. I suppose after he was picked to play for that England team, Chelsea may think he is ready for the Championship. Could it be the same as Ben Whiteman and Sheff United - if you want to keep him, buy him?
When is Lawlor out of contract?
