I think a 1 goal defeat was about the correct result. We had a goal chalked off for a very tight offside by VAR and their keeper made a world class save which was more or less like a goal for them. They had a couple of chance to increase the lead but they didn't. Anyways Partey back next game should help. Apparently Dembele has a hamstring injury and that will be a big miss for them.

Partey isn't going to aid our attack is he.
Our only chance was if we had a lead to protect and thats where Arteta teams come into their own.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Actually he does aid our attack, we are more solid with him and better at recovering the ball so we should have more of the ball and are more likely to hit them quicker on transition.
Plus his passing in general is very good and he often breaks lines with that.

👍 great point

Of course Partey aides our attack . Not only what he does, but also moves Merino back up front and Trossy can sit on the bench. Gives Rice more freedom too.

Idk what some people are talking about.
PSG were by far the better team and 1-0 flattered us. Apart from brief spells either side of half time, they completely controlled the game. We did very well to get out of there with a 1 goal defeat.
They should have finished us off when they had the chance, hopefully they live to regret it. They are still massive favorites to go through but there is something in the back of my head telling me that we will shock the world next week.

Agree.
The fact that they lacked that killer instinct to kill us off coupled with Partey returning has given me more hope than anything else although potentially having an unfit Ben White up against Kvaratskhelia is worrying, even a fit Ben White would be a concern.
I did hear a number of people saying that some of chances they missed would have been given offside anyway but I don't think they all were from what I recall.

I really can't see that. They are good enough to score a goal at any time in the game. Don't think we have an answer to that.

PSG at home are a different beast.
We won't have a lot of the ball and if anything, they are more likely to score first
