Aye, Barca always vulnerable defensively. Superb watch when they have possession, but they can’t really complain if they go out after conceding 7 over 2 legs.

That was some game. You just hope the final can be just as good.

Absolutely. I missed the first game … wasn’t making that mistake again! As good as Inter were first half, Barca were phenomenal 2nd half. Masterclass. Kinda robbed at the death there.

It was, but Barca should’ve been out of sight by then. Jamal had just hit the post, and their disallowed “pen” was pretty suspect IMO.

Yup, the ref gave the pen so VAR should have been is there a reason not to award it. Now all this 'carried on inside the box' stuff I think is spurious pash. Reason is you can argue all day long about how subjective that is but they all decided it hadn't.

Fair enough but then we look at the Inter pen and in slow mo he is getting there what looks like a frame before the Barca defender. In full speed that is effectively the same time as even the slowest cameras are nearer 100fps even if the broadcast is only 30fps. This pains me somewhat because I'm an advocate of offside by a toenail is offside. It just seems like that is a technical foul whereas being 1 or 2ms late in a tackle feels like effectively the same.

I'm grumpy because I can't stand Italian football and PSG v Barca would probably be the neutral's choice.

Barca man - they had 6 minutes to hold on or something but they kept to their shape, didn't pack the box, didn't go down with cramp or mysterious injuries - they fckd it not being street wise.

Aye, Yamal takes it into the corner at the start of regulation injury-time and Barca win the game. Instead he almost scores a worldy, which cracks off the base of the post and Inter go straight down the other end and equalise. Good luck to them in the final, but they were second best for long spells of that game.

I hope Arsenal make it. I enjoy watching them - until the actual scoring problem. Ironically something that hasn't affected them in Europe. They are however up against a savy and impressive PSG that I can't see opening their defence like Barca did v Inter last night

PSG v Inter could be a good final. PSG v Barca could have been 4v4 or could have been 0v0

No cup final ticket for me but CS Jnr 1 got 1. That is 2 finals in a row where only one of us have got one

To be fair had he not got one and I did I would probably have gave him it as it will likely be his last Celtic game he can attend before he moves away in the summer.

I have the Edinburgh Half Marathon the next day so will not be drinking or partying anyways
