I'm not sure there's any real benefit other than matching the timings United will play

Yeah that's the point

I think given the choice of 2 days rest/prep or 4 days rest/prep before a final it's a no brainer.

iF we get to the final, might as well bring that date forward as well. Because, according to Fridge, the young players only need a 5 minute break in between games.
If they think about it too much, they might wet the bed?

Of course this needed to be sorted with good notice but this really is setting us up to be laughed at if we go out Thursday night
Like we need anymore ammunition to rivals to beat us
We just loaded the gun

Trying
They score early Thursday I fear what will follow but Frankfurt was a top disciplined performance and surprised me …that level again and we are through
I’m not thinking past Thursday at this point

Can Villa's rivals for a Champions League place complain when Spurs send out their U10s for the game
What are the rules for team strength or otherwise?
(assuming no catastrophe on Thursday night of course)

I still want the youth team on the pitch at Villa if we are in final.
Villa can hardly complain. It would have been even earlier in the week if they had done their job and got to the FA cup final. A Friday night is still family friendly.

There are no rules for fielding a weakened team. You've inadvertently been doing it most of the season.

Well that’s the irony for me - the side we put out against Villa will still be stronger than some Prem games this season where we went as strong as we could - and either way, the shiete tactics will be prevalent
